Arbutus Studios is a videography business located in Vancouver, British Columbia. We specialize in creating wedding films, music videos, and corporate videos. For our wedding films, we aim to capture the true essence of each wedding and love capturing those candid moments that make every wedding unique. We use our top of the line gear which includes 4K cinema cameras, gimbals, lighting equipment, and sound equipment, together with skilled cinematographers, editors, and colourists to create a beautiful wedding film that will be cherished for the rest of the couples lives.

Services Offered

Once a wedding has been booked, our team at Arbutus studios puts an immense amount of planning and preparation into the shoot. We go over the layout of the venue and put a plan together of how to best capture all the important moments of the big day, in the most artistic manner we can. If lighting is required we are happy to bring our lighting equipment to the venue. We also believe that our film's audio is just as important as video, so we use professional audio equipment throughout the day (lapel mics, shotgun mics, external recorders) to capture the highest quality audio we can.

After the wedding is complete, we start to piece together a wedding film with the constant focus being storytelling. In the wedding films editing process, we like to mix together both some of the audio captured on the day (speeches and vows) with music. We then deliver a cinematic, and beautifully edited/colour graded wedding film that the couple will cherish for the rest of their lives.
