Wedding month coordination, partial and full-planning packages and design and style services are offered. Wonder Chic Events focuses on the complexity, style and design to ensure your special day is thoroughly enjoyable and according to your preferences. Lead coordinator and event designer, Cindy Li, understands the importance of planning your special wedding and her goal is to ensure that it is memorable, stress-free, stylish and timely.
Services offered
Wedding month coordination, full-term planning services and a la carte planning are options to choose from. In addition, services for civil unions are also provided. Planning and month-of packages include:
- One lead coordinator and one associate coordinator
- Free initial meeting
- Setup of lighting and decor for reception
- Wedding reception coordination with DJ and Venue
- Rehearsal coordination
- Time management between ceremony, speeches, and other timely events
How we work
A free initial meeting is set up to fill out a questionnaire in order to focus on the to-dos that make your wedding a success. You will create your itinerary and schedule, and develop a plan of action. On the day of the event, one lead coordinator and one associate coordinator is required to be present to assist throughout the day. Additional associate coordinators are brought on depending on size, scope and complexity.
Other services
Beyond weddings, Wonder Chic provides services in bridal and baby showers, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate events.

Cindy was extremely detailed and helped us coordinate the wedding exactly to our vision!
Even before the big day, Cindy was incredibly helpfulโshe shared vendor recommendations, and even gave us great tips on how to negotiate with vendors. Her advice helped us feel more confident and prepared throughout the planning process.
On the wedding day itself, she brought such calm, positive energy and handled every single (and minor!) detail with care and professionalism. She made sure our timeline stayed on track, coordinated seamlessly with all our vendors, and took care of any hiccupsโincluding some last-minute surprises! For example, when our helium balloons didnโt inflate as planned for the Ceremony re-entrance, Cindy jumped into action right away, coordinating with our emcee and DJ to tweak the rundown without skipping a beat. We are so fortunate to have Cindy as our wedding planner from the very beginning (even before our engagement!). We learned about Wonder Chic Events through a referral (who also had very positive experience with Cindy and her team), and it was literally one of the best wedding advice we had! Cindy was instrumental in assembling our dream team of vendors, and she works really hard to make YOUR day a truly special one (and not just another "boiler-plate" wedding)! She gave us great honest and frank advice about how to pick our vendors and always watched out for us!
Cindy has been very thoughtful, organized, and responsive throughout the planning process โ she will do whatever it takes to make sure things go as planned! Sheโs also very patient and will take the time to understand you as a couple and learn about you.
Some more background story: We hired Cindy back in 2018 and we pretty much had most of our planning done in 2019. Unfortunately, COVID hit in 2020 and that threw our entire plan in disarray, including having to switch our venue, and trying to coordinate setting a new wedding date with all of our vendors and renegotiating contracts. Of course, Cindy was there to help us navigate this unprecedented situation throughout the process. She also gave helpful suggestion to Calvin on his proposal (which I found out afterwards lol), and our elopement in Hawaii.

We hired Cindy and her team as our month-of planner two years prior to our actual wedding. Despite being only our month-of planner, Cindy was so gracious in giving us tips and guidance along the way.
During the month of our wedding, she coordinated with all our vendors, bridal party, created detail timelines, and so much more. I wish I could give her higher than a 5 for Responsiveness because she made herself available to us no matter what time or day it was. My husband and I work in extremely demanding jobs and sometimes would not have time to work on our wedding until late night (10/12pm), but Cindy was so accommodating to our schedules. She also made sure we got the best service from our vendors (i.e. helped us negotiate with our venue for free sparkling toast for all guests).
On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly. We were shocked by how perfect the day went!
After the wedding, our family and friends continued to rave about how impressed they were by Cindy and how she made sure they all knew where they were going / made the wedding run so smoothly.

Some background on myself. We got engaged August 2017 after a lot of pressure from my parents, so right off the bat I wasn't a happy or excited bride. We started planning January of 2018. I'm no stranger to planning (professionally and socially) but perhaps it was the fact I'm not a "wedding person" and haven't been looking forward to it my entire life or sheer laziness - even booking the venue I was set on was intimidating!
We eventually decided to get a full service planner to help us negotiate contracts, find vendors, and solicit advice and can 110% say in hindsight it was THE BEST decision we made with respect to the wedding. Enter Cindy.
Cindy was our saviour for our entire day and all the days leading up to it. Throughout the entire process she was extremely responsive, very pleasant to deal with, super organized, tremendously supportive, and incredibly professional. From finalizing our venue contract; setting up meetings with multiple vendors; booking for us literally all but 1 (who was a family member) of our other amazing vendors; following up on every little detail; getting us the best prices for quality; planning out our schedules and timelines; ensuring we were on track with our tasks; supporting us emotionally when we had a series of health and work issues; setting up our venues on the day of in the most MAGICAL ways (along with her fabulous assistant, Dianne!); and making the day itself go so smoothly without ANY major hiccups - she truly went above and beyond in every single aspect. I truly felt like she had our best interests in mind and I can't recommend Wonder Chic Events enough!
Cindy + team, thank you for all the hard work you put into our fantastic day!!! Despite not being super excited for it (as you know!), we can very confidently say it was one of the absolute best days of our lives. We've had so many guests tell us what a wonderful time they had, which is a win in my books.
