Wonder Chic Events takes into consideration your individual tastes, budget and requirements to create your special day an extraordinary celebration. Wedding month coordination, partial and full-planning packages and design and style services are offered. Wonder Chic Events focuses on the complexity, style and design to ensure your special day is thoroughly enjoyable and according to your preferences. Lead coordinator and event designer, Cindy Li, understands the importance of planning your special wedding and her goal is to ensure that it is memorable, stress-free, stylish and timely.

Services offered

Wedding month coordination, full-term planning services and a la carte planning are options to choose from. In addition, services for civil unions are also provided. Planning and month-of packages include:

  • One lead coordinator and one associate coordinator
  • Free initial meeting
  • Setup of lighting and decor for reception
  • Wedding reception coordination with DJ and Venue
  • Rehearsal coordination
  • Time management between ceremony, speeches, and other timely events

How we work

A free initial meeting is set up to fill out a questionnaire in order to focus on the to-dos that make your wedding a success. You will create your itinerary and schedule, and develop a plan of action. On the day of the event, one lead coordinator and one associate coordinator is required to be present to assist throughout the day. Additional associate coordinators are brought on depending on size, scope and complexity.

Beyond weddings, Wonder Chic provides services in bridal and baby showers, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate events.

Say yes to Wonder Chic!

A special thank you to Wonder Chic Events, our wedding planner Cindy and her team for going the extra mile. We joke that next to saying yes to each other, choosing you was our next best decision for this wedding. We hired wedding Chic for full planning services. Cindy was very friendly and professional, giving us well curated vendor options along the way and meeting together with us, following up with both us and our vendors on a timely basis. She was very helpful when we had last minute changes where the macarons we intended to have were no long available, she was able to help us coordinate a switch to mochins, which were a hit with our guests. She also helped us navigate changes for our videographer contract to allow for livestreaming in the midst of the pandemic. Cindy is very organized and helped us execute our special day magically. Where possible, she helped us also identify economical options too especially where everything wedding comes with a price tag. We had many guests compliment us on how well organized and thoughtful everything was. We strongly recommend an investment in her services. She has truly gone above and beyond both leading up to our wedding date and the day of. Thank you :)

Thank you Cindy!

Thank you so much Cindy for all your help! You made our day so special and we only wished we hired you even earlier! :)

We hired Cindy and her team as our month-of planner two years prior to our actual wedding. Despite being only our month-of planner, Cindy was so gracious in giving us tips and guidance along the way.

During the month of our wedding, she coordinated with all our vendors, bridal party, created detail timelines, and so much more. I wish I could give her higher than a 5 for Responsiveness because she made herself available to us no matter what time or day it was. My husband and I work in extremely demanding jobs and sometimes would not have time to work on our wedding until late night (10/12pm), but Cindy was so accommodating to our schedules. She also made sure we got the best service from our vendors (i.e. helped us negotiate with our venue for free sparkling toast for all guests).

On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly. We were shocked by how perfect the day went!

After the wedding, our family and friends continued to rave about how impressed they were by Cindy and how she made sure they all knew where they were going / made the wedding run so smoothly.

Very Organized and Easy to Work with

Our experience with Cindy Li and her assistant Natalie was a very easy-going process as our planning meetings and outlines were very specific and as detailed as possible to reduce the number of issues we could possibly encounter. She was very timely with keeping us on track with the schedule she established and was very focused on making sure everything ran on time on the day of, which was good as there were several small changes in the schedule, which we managed to navigate without issues. She kept us honest with our budget along with our time management and made plans to keep us focused on our goals for the wedding. Would definitely recommend her to our friends and family!

Wonderful Wonder Chic =)

I booked Wonder Chic Events pretty late into our wedding planning process. At the beginning, I didn't think we would need a planner for the wedding because I was able to find most of my vendors and booked appointments myself. However, during the last 2 months prior to the wedding, that's when things started to get out of hand. I hired Cindy for the "Month of" but her services really start about 6 weeks before. During that time, Cindy was always so good with organizing everything and planning out our itinerary for the wedding day. So many other things were taken care of by Cindy and her team. It would have been crazy stressful if it weren't for their help.
I highly recommend using Wonder Chic Events!! It's worth it!

Thank you Cindy!!

Cindy was the best money spent in my wedding. We initially were not planning to hire a month of coordinator. However, as the day crept closer, I was getting more stressed and decided that it would be best to hire someone to help us out. From the moment we met Cindy, we connected with her. She spent time to get to know us and didn’t treat us like just another client. Throughout the last couple of months, Cindy was super responsive and dealt with any issues promptly. I would have been so stressed doing all the coordination and creating the timeline by myself. Her experience really helped us make sure we leave enough buffer in the timeline throughout the day.

On the day of, Cindy made sure that all the vendors knew where they were supposed to be and kept in contact with everyone (super organized). She made sure that everyone knew their role and was the main reason why everything went so smoothly.

She also has a great eye for detail. My mom had made all the decor for the wedding and she placed everything in place and made the hall look AMAZING. When I walked into the venue, I was blown away!

I don’t think my day would have been this perfect without Cindy organizing and running the show in the background.

Best you will make for your wedding!

We were so happy that Wonder Chic Events was referred to us, it was the best decision we made for our wedding. Cindy pays very close attention to all your needs and listens carefully to understand your vision to bring it to life. Cindy is very detailed and you will not be disappointed with her work; she makes sure that clients are happy every step of the way and ensures that every detail, no matter how big or small, is missed. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly and that you are not stressing out. She is always available for any questions and responds in a timely manner to your needs. Cindy is extremely organized and with her work ethic you can be sure that she is always on top of everything. She made sure that we were on the right track with helpful tips and resources. Cindy gave advice and direction when needed and beyond planning she became someone we could trust and confide in.

My husband and I are truly thankful for Cindy and the Wonder Chic Events team, our day went off without a hitch and we were able to enjoy every minute of it. She knows exactly what she is doing and executes her work with extreme professionalism and efficiency.

Thank You Wonder Chic Events!!

Our big day was coming up on Aug 27 and we had a vision. A jam packed day and non-stop entertainment fun filled evening with a lot of different vendors. But how in the world was this going to get executed???? We connected with Wonder Chic Events and were so lucky to have Cindy and her team brought up to speed before the big day. Cindy had multiple meetings with us to go over the details and also recommended some fantastic vendors we were missing. She built our timeline together and in the month leading up to the wedding, expertly communicated with all of our vendors to make sure everyone knew their roles and clarified any questions. The result? The day was a smashing success. At our ceremony, Cindy handled the crowd professionally and got everyone organized for group photos - this was very important to us otherwise we wouldn't have gotten beautiful photos with friends and family. Everything in the evening happened as planned - the team coordinated our grand entrance, led our lion dance team in, directed our decor + food vendors and set up our diy candy bar + donuts table. A wedding coordinator on the day, a leader is ESSENTIAL and the team at Wonder Chic Events was truly amazing. Simply put - the day would not have been possible without Cindy and her team!!! Hands down the BEST wedding planner!

Calvin and I really enjoyed our wedding on July 3, 2022. Everything went as smooth as it could, and we were able to soak up the moment with peace of mind because of Cindy and her wonderful team. We received a lot of complements from our guests about how well the day went!

We are so fortunate to have Cindy as our wedding planner from the very beginning (even before our engagement!). We learned about Wonder Chic Events through a referral (who also had very positive experience with Cindy and her team), and it was literally one of the best wedding advice we had! Cindy was instrumental in assembling our dream team of vendors, and she works really hard to make YOUR day a truly special one (and not just another "boiler-plate" wedding)! She gave us great honest and frank advice about how to pick our vendors and always watched out for us!

Cindy has been very thoughtful, organized, and responsive throughout the planning process – she will do whatever it takes to make sure things go as planned! She’s also very patient and will take the time to understand you as a couple and learn about you.

Some more background story: We hired Cindy back in 2018 and we pretty much had most of our planning done in 2019. Unfortunately, COVID hit in 2020 and that threw our entire plan in disarray, including having to switch our venue, and trying to coordinate setting a new wedding date with all of our vendors and renegotiating contracts. Of course, Cindy was there to help us navigate this unprecedented situation throughout the process. She also gave helpful suggestion to Calvin on his proposal (which I found out afterwards lol), and our elopement in Hawaii.

Cindy can make your dreams come true!

I just got married over a week ago and the team at Wonder Chic Events are simply fairy godmothers! Cindy, the lead planner is the most well organised, prepared, detail-oriented, and fun planner to work with! She was with us for a full three months planning away while my husband at I worked overseas. It was not an easy wedding to plan as we were half way around the world but Cindy worked with our schedules and took our calls whenever we had questions. Cindy worked well with all of our vendors and she even knew some of them from working in the business for so many years. Her experience, professionalism and fun personality is what gave me a stress-free wedding planning experience! On the day of the wedding she made sure I was happy and blocked all hiccups so that I could enjoy the day! From my perspective, I had the wedding of my dreams and everything went smoothly! Cindy and her team really made sure the wedding day went as planned and that I had a memorable day! It was most definitely the most magical day of my life and its thanks to Cindy and her team at Wonder Chic Events that made this happen! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a wedding planner! They speak Chinese & English (this was a plus for my family)!
