Susam was an absolute pleasure to work with! We hired her for our month of coordinator and that had to be the best decision I made for our wedding! She went above and beyond in so many ways! She consistently contacted and coordinated all of our vendors, made the most detailed wedding schedule, and kept me organized for my payment schedules for each vendor. She also showed up the day before, despite the hours of traffic she had to battle, and helped us set up and decorate the venue for hours to ensure that I had my dream wedding! On the day of our wedding, it was fascinating to watch her in action - I swear there were over a dozen of her because she was able to be in so many places at once taking care of every detail and executed the day flawlessly (we also did not have the most traditional wedding, so there were A LOT of moving parts). She ensured our wedding day was so stress free and dealt with any issues that could have arose. She also went the extra mile and set up our ceremony decor, fluffed my dress for the ceremony and photos, adjusted my veil, bustled my dress, set up our dessert table, made sure I was fed and hydrated, and countless other things! I do not have the words to fully express our gratitude for Susam, but truly thank you so much for everything!

Choosing Susam as our month-of coordinator proved to be the wisest decision we could have made. With her help, we remained organized and stayed on top of our tasks, including the crucial final payments to our vendors. The level of meticulousness she displayed was truly remarkable, and we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have benefited from her expertise, as well as the assistance of Sky. Whenever we reached out with queries, she promptly responded via messenger, ensuring we never felt ignored. Hiring Susam from SS Wedding & Event was definitely the best decision we've made for our wedding! We were one of those couples who tried to plan everything ourselves. Upon discussion with a friend who was already married, we realized the importance of having a coordinator since it would be impossible to look after everything ourselves on the wedding day. Our friend recommended Susam and she was very responsive in explaining the types of services and packages available. At first we were still skeptical about needing a coordinator, but we went with it. SS Wedding & Event has the most reasonable price. Plus Susam speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluently, which is a big bonus for us and our guests!

We hired Susam for the month-of coordination service. Prior to her commencement period, we were given a detailed questionnaire to fill out. Upon our first meeting with Susam, she already prepared a day of itinerary draft to facilitate our discussions. Susam also created a group chat which allowed us to communicate easily and she gave us lots of insight and suggestions as we finalized everything together. Susam is extremely patient and professional. During our meetings with vendors, she’d make sure all the details were discussed (which we’d have no clue had we handled ourselves).

Our wedding day went smoothly as planned thanks to Susam and her team. She kept us in the loop of things and checked with us frequently to ensure everything was okay. Being unfamiliar and already overwhelmed when we first got engaged, the first thing we decided to do was look for a wedding planner. We had no idea how to decide who to go with, but just like how Goldilocks knew what the right fit was, that’s how we felt when we met Susam. During our first meeting, she was very calm and collected, very friendly and a very good listener. After that meeting, we just knew we were in good hands. My partner and I may not agree on everything related to the wedding but we strongly agree that Susam was our best decision.
We didn’t have a very clear vision of what we wanted for our wedding, but we did have a budget we wanted to stick to. With her expertise, she guided us along with questions and prompts, to help us form our dream wedding. She did a lot of research to help us find what we needed that would stick within our budget. She was always prompt with responding to us. Due to the pandemic, we had put wedding plans on the backburner after we postponed it for a year. Thankfully, as things started to open again, she reminded us about our wedding and helped us pick up where we left off a year ago. She effortlessly brought us back on track. It has been a stressful journey with the pandemic and the ever-changing guidelines/restrictions, but every time we met with Susam, her clam demeanor and optimistic outlook always calmed our nerves and made us feel like everything was going to be ok. Our wedding ceremony turned out better than we could have imagined. It went so smoothly and the experience was so pleasant, and we owe a big part of that to Susam for keeping on top of everything! We look forward to working with her again at our wedding reception and will continue to strongly recommend her to our friends.

We did not even budget for a wedding planner/coordinator. Thinking we can handle a DIY wedding, after all, we were just planning a very intimate wedding with ~30 guests. Not soon after, we realized this was way more than what we can handle, we most definitely, desperately needed a coordinator and we were so grateful to have met Susam. She was everything a planner should be and beyond - easy to work with, patient, responsive, organized, reliable and flexible.

A couple of things that really stood out for us
1. We loved how great Susam was with our parents and other family members; our parents felt at ease with Susam and that was very important to us
2. Susam was aware of how detail-oriented I am, she would send me pictures along the way to make sure every detail (small or big) is what I wanted for our wedding
3. Susam would take detailed notes and pictures throughout our wedding planning process with other vendors; they were so helpful in visualizing our wedding day

We really appreciate her professionalism, patience, and help throughout our wedding day. To have someone alongside who cared and understood our vision during a very stressful process was priceless.

From our first meeting, Susam was amazing to work with. Her flexibility in meeting locations and times, her professionalism, her attention to detail and asking all the right questions allowed us to plan a wedding with ease, without forgetting any details.

Susam was also instrumental in day of "emergencies", and has a solution in hand very promptly (ie, champagne spills on dresses etc...)
Susam is also amazing with parents and family, whether with answering questions about wedding-day schedules, what wedding traditions are, and puts their minds at ease as well.

I was referred by my makeup artist and we hired SS Wedding & Event for the day of coordinator and their service was excellent! We decided to have a wedding in just a 6 months period and Susam was able to provide excellent services to us and referred awesome vendors to us (officiant, MC, florist, etc) Susam was on top of everything and provides me reminders on my to-do list. We wanted everything to be the way we wanted for this once a life time experience and Susam was able to accommodate our needs. Really appreciate Susam's effort on making our wedding perfect. We had our wedding on August 10, 2019 at the Thompson Hotel in downtown Toronto and hired Susam and her company as our Month-of-Coordinator. Her professionalism and superb hard work exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond in every way and without her this day would not have taken place so smoothly and beautifully. We had an amazing event and everything went according to plan. She and her assistant Kirsten took care of every detail and made our big day extra special! We first came across Susam on BUNZ (now PALZ) in the midst of some last minute wedding planning. With a bit over a month left until the wedding, we soon realized that we needed some help to put everything together, and Susam came to the rescue as our month of coordinator. She was the Batwoman to our Gotham city of wedding details.

Ever since we hired her, we started sleeping better, had more free time to do some other planning (honeymoon), and she pointed out things that we might've missed to think about when planning a wedding. She was very responsive and patient in answering our infinite supply of questions as well as finding solutions to our copious amounts problems.

We're really thankful that Susam was there to coordinate our day, along with her assistant and husband Sky. We couldn't have thought of a better place to spend our money. We were on the fence about getting a MoC, but she proved us wrong within the first few days of hire. The setup and takedown was seamless, giving the wedding party more time to party.
