Hi! I'm Michaela, the face behind Prairie Weddings by Michaela (previously Tie The Knot Weddings). I am a certified Wedding Planner and Coordinator. I received my certification through the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada (WPIC) in January 2019 while on maternity leave with my first little one.
I am a stay-at-home mama of two toddlers, a new fiancé 😊, and we recently moved up to Birtle, Manitoba. I love spending time with my family outside. We love to host BBQs, pool dates, and I love playing baseball and have played on and off since the age of 5.
I made the decision to become a Wedding Planner & Coordinator because I love planning events and helping people in any way that I can. I have always been very organized, and I want to help create beautiful weddings that couples will remember forever. Whether you need help all the way from the day you get engaged or just wanting someone there on the day of, I will to be there for you.
