Phoebe Lo Events

We had our wedding on July 14, 2018 and we hired Phoebe to assist with the design and day-of coordination. From the first day we met Phoebe she was so excited to get started and had so many great ideas. She was very professional and responsive with emails. She even met us at our condo in Toronto for meetings which was so accommodating for us! She made us an amazing itinerary and led the wedding rehearsal. The day of went so smoothly and I couldn't be more happy with Phoebe's work. She's great and I will recommend her to all my friends and family. She is a kind soul and very good at what she does.

When people ask me whether having a wedding planner is worth it, I always say yes and tell them all about Phoebe. Phoebe is one of the sweetest, most creative people we know, and the wedding she created for us is perfect!

Phoebe made the wedding of our dreams come true, and even going beyond our wildest dreams! We really relied on her for the design and theme, and got so many compliments from our guests that everything looks beautiful and intimate, even though we had a small crowd in a grand space. Phoebe had so many creative ideas that made our wedding truly special, like airy balloon walls, dessert performance, and guest portraits. And most importantly, we got to meet so many other amazing vendors through her!

From a practical standpoint, having Phoebe allowed us to live our lives without getting caught up in all the craziness that is wedding planning. I was able to pursue an exciting new job opportunity 2 months before the wedding, and go for an out-of-town meeting the week of the wedding. On the actual day, I was able to stop and smell the roses (literally, my florist Alex @ Foreverwildfield made an amazing bouquet!). I don’t think I would have the luxury of any of this without Phoebe’s help!

Phoebe is one of the kindest souls that I have ever met- and she was an absolute dream to work with. My fiance and I worked with Phoebe for the 2 years planning our dream wedding in Muskoka and our wedding weekend could NOT have gone more smoothly- from the very first meeting up until the big day- Phoebe was there for us. Phoebe listened to our vision and was instrumental in making it a reality - she is passionate, kind, cheerful - but don't let her bubbly personality fool you - when it comes to it-Phoebe gets things done; and she gets them done with remarkable elegance. She is well connected within the industry and every recommendation she provided us - be it vendors, opinions ..etc-- she was spot on. She develops a personal relationship with her clients, and thus will tailor her recommendations based on her clients vision- I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. She goes above and beyond her call of duty- both my husband and I are busy physicians and working in separate cities - and Phoebe was always accommodating to our sporadic meeting requests, responding to our late emails/texts/frantic phone calls- even postponing a personal vacation for an issue that came up mid planning - if that is not dedication - we don't know what is. Phoebe clearly loves her job, and we love her dearly!

We hired Phoebe for her day-of coordination services to help us execute our wedding plans. She went above and beyond and helped us so much prior to our wedding day. Here are some of our favourite features in hopes it will make someone even more excited to work with her!
-She has a ton of positive energy which is necessary during the wedding planning stress. Some important people (my parents!) were running late for the ceremony due to traffic and Phoebe handled this hiccup so calmly, which helped keep us at ease.
-She is meticulously organized! If you love Excel sheets, hire her asap. All detail-oriented individuals will love her for this!
-She is trilingual (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin) which is a rare and very valuable skill if you have a mixed culture wedding.
-Her smile and laughter are contagious and we were at least 5x happier at our wedding just because she was there! One meeting with her and you'll understand right away ;) Oh and our pup approved of her as well, awesome PAWsome!

We didn't have a single regret hiring Phoebe Lo events, minus the big regret that we didn't hire her as a full planner from the start! We wholeheartedly recommend Phoebe Lo Events and are super excited to work with her to celebrate future special occasions :)
