    10/10 Experience!

    Margot was an absolute dream to work with every step of the way. Our ceremony was very small, but we opted for a full planning package for peace of mind... and it was the best decision ever! Margot took such good care of us. She was super communicative, honest, and insightful throughout the entire planning process. She thoughtfully suggested vendors that fit our vision, vibe and budget perfectly... and all from a distance! We are so grateful for the time and attention she devoted to making sure every detail was just right. We really feel she went above and beyond.

    Our wedding day was everything we envisioned and so much more. It was smooth, seamless and stress free! Margot designed a gorgeous event that we feel was a beautiful reflection of who we are and the love we share.

    Stop Looking! You found your event planner.

    We had the best, most enjoyable experience working with Nicola and her team at Petite Pearl. We signed on for a six week take over, and kid you not, the first day was like flipping an ‘on’ switch. Every vendor knew what to do and had answers to our questions before we even asked. It was amazing!! Nicola is calm, firm and kind, which is a killer package to execute an event with a lot of moving parts. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and expert knowledge we received with Nicola and Petite Pearl. Thank you!!

    We had such a great experience with Marcie at Petit Pearl Events. She quickly made us feel comfortable, listened, and was responsive to our ideas and feedback. We truly felt that the process was transparent and promoted trust. The result was outstanding. The attention to detail was amazing. It was definitely a smooth operation on the big day. Our families and friends had a marvellous time. Many told us that it was definitively a wedding they will remember, and described it as "one of the best and most enjoyable weddings".

    Best decision!

    We recently got married at Sunwolf in Squamish and when it came time to hire a takeover coordinator, we did our research. We spoke to several companies to see who would be the best fit for us and Petite Pearl was the clear choice. From the moment we started working with Marcie, we knew we were in good hands.
    My husband and I are both detail oriented and had already put so much time and effort into planning our day, it was important to make sure we were handing things over to someone who would put it all together the way we would. Marcie is professional, organised and knowledgeable, but we really felt like she was invested and excited for our day. The whole experience felt so personal, we were able to trust Marcie completely, so we could step back and enjoy our day without having to worry about a thing.
    There were a few hiccups on site the day before we arrived for the weekend and Marcie was up there immediately to deal with it, only reaching out to us when absolutely necessary.
    We had hoped for an outdoor ceremony and had very uncertain weather the day of, rain off and on. Marcie was our eyes and ears while we were getting ready, helping us to make the right call, even though there were several wipe downs of the chairs (thank you Nicola and Margot!), at the very last second the sun came out! It was a bit stressful but Marcie was reassuring and had a feeling things would work out the way we wanted them to.
    She created a detailed itinerary, liaised with all of our vendors, made sure things were set up exactly as we had envisioned and kept things running seamlessly until the end of the night, while we were able to focus on having fun and enjoying ourselves!
    Saying Marcie was an integral part of our day is an understatement- there's no way we could've done it without her and I'm not sure anyone else would've done it as well.
    We were in such good hands from first meeting until the end of the night on our wedding day and we couldn't be more grateful.
    Trusting someone with your wedding day, arguably one of the most important in your life, can be scary, but Petite Pearl was definitely the right choice, I can't recommend them highly enough!

    Went Over and Beyond!

    Do not hesitate hiring Petite Pearl Events for your wedding. My (now) husband and I opted for a Takeover Coordinator to help us and it was one of the best decision we made. From the moment we met Marcie, we sensed she was a great fit and trustworthy. Throughout the process was no different as she communicated very well with us and our vendors. She is professional and punctual with meticulous organization skills (which is needed for a large venue like Sunwolf in Squamish).

    On our wedding day, Marcie + her team (Nicola and Roxanne) from PPE went over and beyond from beginning to end. They were able to put our vision beautifully to reality. I can't emphasize enough how grateful we are for the extra effort made on this day - it truly made our event memorable for us and our guests.

    BEST Wedding Coordinator!

    My husband and I chose to work with Nicola at Petite Pearl Events for our wedding day (Takeover Coordination option) and were blown away by the whole experience. We kept saying throughout our planning process that this was literally the best decision we'd made for our wedding! From the beginning, Nicola was quick to respond, professional, fun and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We were planning our wedding from afar (we live in the Caribbean and were getting married in Vancouver), but were able to meet with Nicola over Zoom for all of our meetings. We loved that before we signed the contract with Petite Pearl we were able to meet with Nicola, chat about our hopes for the wedding and ask questions to ensure it was a good fit. We knew it was right away and felt at ease about the next steps for our planning despite doing so from so far away AND during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Nicola was super helpful with vendor suggestions, little details to consider, and things to start looking into. With the takeover coordination service, you get a 6-month-out meeting, which was also super helpful. Nicola checked in to see that we'd gotten the important things arranged and helped steer us in the right direction for next steps. I should also add that despite us not having chosen the full wedding planning option, Nicola was there to answer any little questions that popped up along the way, which was amazing. About 6 weeks out we had a long meeting, and then Nicola 'took over' and became the point of contact for the vendors...this was awesome! She was able to remind us when final payments were due, ensure rentals were going to be picked up and dropped off at the right times, etc. She prepared a detailed itinerary for the day of the wedding, along with the events leading up to it, and made changes as and when they came up. It really relieved a lot of stress for us. The week before the wedding, we got to have another meeting (face-to-face, once we were finally in the same country!) and again, she was so helpful making sure everything was exactly right. For our rehearsal, Nicola was there and made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to expect on the actual wedding day. On our actual day, Nicola was the first one to the venue with her assistant, and they made sure everything looked beautiful and was exactly right. It was so wonderful not having to worry about a single thing on our wedding day - all of our family and friends could just enjoy the day without having to worry about dropping off centrepieces or preparing decorations and arranging the flowers. The whole day flowed so smoothly, and it was because Nicola was on top of everything, making sure it was all going according to plan. At the end of the night, she ensured everything was cleared up and all rentals were returned, cards and gifts went home safely, and that the venue was in good shape. Nicola went above and beyond our expectations and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had the best day and are so grateful for Nicola!

    Seamless planning and jaw dropping design services

    We engaged Petite Pearl Events with Marcie as our lead planner and designer for Month-of Coordination and Event Design Services for our wedding in October 2021. How can I even begin to describe how amazing Marcie and the Petite Pearl team were?

    For our event design services, Marcie took some scattered ideas we had on Pinterest and turned our venue of Dusty’s Whistler into the most romantic, cozy, mountain lodge that had a sophisticated yet boho-chic feel to it all. I don’t know how she managed this, but the decor all the way from the plates to the furniture to the arrangements - everything was beautiful and perfect. She also worked closely with our florist to communicate the vision and colours we wanted which resulted in beautiful creations.

    For our month-of coordination services, Marcie really went above and beyond here. The 60 days before our wedding, covid restrictions were constantly changing, even including up to the day of the wedding, which required us to have many plans and contingencies in place. Marcie was extremely organized and excellent with communication. She worked directly with all of our vendors to navigate almost daily changes, and helped us be ready for just about anything the day threw at us. She also helped make sure we thought about absolutely everything and plan for everything, so that we felt prepared leading up to and could relax on the day of. Marcie made our whole wedding experience a dream. Now we want to have another just to work with her again! Seriously the best investment we made with our wedding was for the services we received from Marcie and Petite Pearl. For what they delivered, their fee should have be double or triple what they actually charge. The value for the quality of service and creativity is not matched by anyone in the sea to sky region.

    Lastly, the Petite Pearl team was wonderful to work with. They don’t bring just anyone along to assist with events on the day of, they bring their other designers and planners. This really helped us feel like everything was absolutely perfect and there was nothing for us to worry about with such an experienced team on site for us during the day.

    The best wedding purchase we made

    Working with Margot and Petite Pearl Events (PPE) was the best decision we ever made for organizing our wedding reception.

    Trying to get married during a pandemic was stressful and challenging. We initially wanted to have a small wedding just with immediate family, but we figured if we were going to have a reception later anyway, we might as well wait a bit longer. We reached out to PPE after talking to a friend who had also hired PPE for his wedding. Our friends interviewed other event planners, and they told us PPE was their top choice, so we went with PPE as well.

    From day one, Margot was very personable and attentive to our needs and wants. We were not able to pinpoint exactly what we wanted at times, but Margot understood the vibe and feelings we wanted at our wedding. There were times when Margot worked her magic and helped us discover new things that we didn't know we wanted as well. Margot was very detailed in her planning and she answered all our questions whenever we asked her. She had a list of things like venues, catering, flowers, etc. that she asked for our input at an appropriate timeline. We had many emails, in person and online meetings, phone calls, and texts that took countless hours; we felt spoiled! Overall, the whole process was smooth and straightforward. All the decision making was up to us, but the rest of the planning like the execution and following up with vendors and such was Margot's job. Again, planning a wedding during COVID was mentally draining because of all uncertainties and continuously changing restrictions. Both of us were working right up to the wedding, and this was only possible because Margot helped us continue our lifestyle smoothly as much as we could. Don't get me wrong, we did have stress because of constraint changing restrictions and whatnot, but if we hadn't worked with Margot, the whole planning process would've been a painful one.

    We worked with Margot for not only planning but the venue hunt and décor as well. In a fiercely competitive environment Margot managed to help us find an exceptional indoor/outdoor venue that was basically pandemic restriction proof. On the décor side, we told her what colour/theme we wanted, and she did an amazing job because she really nailed the vibe that we wanted - spring, airy, and flowy. We wanted a bit of a surprise so we hadn't seen the venue/reception until the day of the reception. At the end, we were exceptionally happy with what Margot had done for us. Little details could be seen by everyone, and we wished we could remember everything from the wedding because it was that beautiful. We couldn't thank Margot enough for all she (and her team) had done for us.

    Just one day before our wedding the indoor mask requirements came off. Margot worked quickly with our venue and was able to get confirmation we could have everything indoors. This left Margot and the PPE team with only 19 hours to switch our wedding layout completely indoors. The hustle and flexibility were worth all the dollars. Just imagine if you had to turn an outdoor wedding into an indoor one in less than a day - we wouldn't be able to do it for sure.

    Everything in Margot’s control on our wedding day was perfect. There was one vendor mistake, no fault of PPE at all, but Margot sprung into action to address it the best she could and went to bat for us after the wedding to help us recuperate some of our expenses with that vendor. She really supported us ahead, during, and after the wedding.

    All our guests complimented our wedding for its beauty and more. We are extremely pleased to have worked with PPE. Hands down, best money spent.

    Best wedding co-ordinator!!!

    We set our date and my hunt for a wedding coordinator began. I knew exactly what I was looking for, someone who was organized, professional, punctual and someone I could trust to help me carry out every little detail I’ve carefully planned out for my dream wedding. I scoured the internet, inquired at a few places and a certain name kept popping up. I read many and really good reviews about Nicola P. I inquired through the PPE website and by some miracle, we were assigned to her. We had our first meeting with Nicola. We enjoyed our meeting with her, I really liked her energy and demeanor. I remember that as soon as the phone call finished, I turned to my (now husband) and said, “Yes! I need her.”
    Nicola is very professional, she has a very calm energy (which I really needed!!) but she means business! And I really liked that. She was available to answer questions in the months leading up to the wedding. She fully took over the month-of, she spoke and communicated to the vendors on my behalf, helping ease the stress off of me.
    The day of our wedding was ABSOLUTELY seamless and smooth. It was flawless. I remember an almost hiccup happened where my mom and stepdad were nowhere to be found as the walk down the aisle was minutes from starting and we saw Nicola running frantically around our venue looking for them, and I remember my bridal party and myself asking if everything was ok and she said “YEP YEP everything’s fine don’t worry!” with the most calm voice whilst she was huffing from all the running she was doing (haha). She found them just in time! Everything was fine. She did plenty of check-ins at the right moments and gentle reminders. She even found the bracelet my uncle lost during our cocktail hour!
    I am incredibly happy that we had the opportunity to have Nicola as our wedding coordinator. My husband and I were able to enjoy the wedding completely with no worries. She took care of everything behind the scenes and everything fell into place at the right time. Her reviews ere bang on, she did an absolutely fantastic job. She helped make my small fairytale wedding come true.

    Petite Pearl is the dream team!

    From the moment we met Margot, we knew we were in good hands. We used Petite Pearl for partial planning and event design and got so much more.

    She created our dream wedding, and the entire day was perfect! Not only did she have to plan, and re-plan our wedding due to Covid-19, but our venue had an incident a few days out, so she had to re-plan the whole thing again. Margot handled this crisis as a true professional. She remained calm and had a plan, but most importantly she kept us calm. It is hard to express how hard the Petite Pearl team had to work to pull off this wedding, but in the end it was magical.

    Margot took the time to understand our vision and delivered something that felt special and unique for us. She made the planning process fun, exciting, and about as relaxed as it could be during a global pandemic. Margot was very organized and always had thoughtful answers to our questions as well as useful suggestions.

    Margot planned a beautiful wedding that we loved and delivered a stress-free experience on the day of the wedding – ALL the details were handled so we were able to focus on each other and enjoy the day.
