Melissa and her team coordinated our 160-person backyard wedding, and we couldn't be happier with working with her on our wedding day! We interviewed over 10 wedding planners, all with their different flairs, and Melissa was the best culture fit for us in terms of being open-minded to our ideas, not too "girly" or "Instagram-y", and still stayed professional and patient with us as we bounced many ideas back and forth.

The biggest help Melissa gave us was connecting us to many trustworthy vendors during our wedding prep. All the recommended vendors were superb: catering (An Affair to Remember), DJ (Revolution Entertainment), and photo/video (Summer Team). On the day of, she coordinated all the arrival and departure times of the vendors so bride / groom / family members could focus on the wedding day.

I can’t say enough about Melissa! She was incredible - so detail orientated, thorough, and efficient. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the day as much as I did. I knew that things were in good hands and that Melissa would take care of all the details. Worth every penny and more - I can’t say this for any other vendors, but I literally feel like she doesn’t charge enough for the time she puts in! Although we only had Mel for the day-of package, I am quite confident when I say that if you book her for your full wedding planning (or partial wedding planning) that you will have a beautiful wedding experience! Mel was amazing! I had done most of my planning by the time I came to her and needed help bringing it all together the day of. Mel worked with me the month of our wedding to finalize timelines, confirm vendors, run rehearsal, and of course bring it all together the day of the event. Mel was super friendly and easy to work with. She listened to what I was envisioning and really made sure that our wedding day was beautiful and perfect! She made sure that anything we could have needed that night was taken care of before we even realized we needed something. She was super organized and I was not worried about a single thing the whole day & night. Mel was my day-of coordinator. I don't have enough words to say how awesome she was. Walking into our first meeting I had absolutely no clue how to plan a wedding. Mel guided me to the right direction. She's extremely organized and had great attention to details. She helped putting together a master schedule and transformed my ideas into words on paper in such an organized manner. I didn't have to bug her too much as everything was communicated to me before I could even question.
Mel was super efficient and organized while helping us decorate the reception venue the day before the wedding. Most of the decorations/center pieces were provide by me and Mel made the whole set-up process like a breeze.
Mel completely earned my trust before my wedding day and on the big day I didn't have to worry about a thing, well, other than the weather. I had an outdoor ceremony planned and the forecast was sporadic and it changed very last minute to say a good chance of rain during my ceremony hour. I didn't get umbrellas ahead of time so I turned to Mel for help only a few hours away from the ceremony. Mel pulled her magic again and got a good number of umbrellas in time! The rain did fall before and after the ceremony and she didn't complain a thing about setting up and taking down the chairs and decors in the rain.
During the ceremony and reception, it seemed that Mel somehow knew what I was thinking. I never had to wonder where she was - she just magically appeared whenever I needed her. The reception venue required us to take down all decors before the end of the night, and Mel made everything disappear when the night ended, without me even noticing that any take-down action was happening during the night of fun times.
My husband and I, and our family are all so grateful for Mel's unparalleled service. I would recommend her to every bride, especially the DIY brides like me :). Last but not least, Mel is such a fun, simple and lovable person, amazing to be with.
