Hiring Melanie Parent Events was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Melanie, Paige, and their team absolutely reduced our stress in ways we wouldn't have expected, helped to put out last minute fires that popped up, and just made our wedding experience run so much smoother. Without them, I would have been too stressed out to really enjoy our wedding day. With them, every detail was in place the way we imagined, and a few details we hadn't even thought of were put in place before we even realized something had been missed. Every bride should be so lucky as to have this team behind them.

Hiring Melanie was an absolute dream and 1000% worth the money. Melanie knew exactly what our vision was for the wedding day and executed it PERFECTLY. Melanie is so kind, professional, flexible and just down right amazing wedding planner! From the moment we sat down with her we KNEW she was the right person for the job!! I was able to get the best advice on which vendors would work best with our venues! From DJ, to table decorations to photo booth- not to mention we were ONLY able to book glitter and glue parties because MELANIE WAS OUR WEDDING PLANNER! (They graciously accepted us as clients even tho they were fully booked). We had so much fun planning our short notice wedding with MPE (4 months of engagement)!! Her attention to detail, ability to clearly communicate your vision and wedding dreams to your vendors is impeccable! Thank you for all your hard work and determination to make our dreams a reality! Our day truly would not have been the same without you!!

Melanie is an amazing lady! She is so easy to work with, she listens to what you have to say and does what you ask. We only used Melanie for the day of and without her help our day would not have turned out as amazing as it did. Everything was set up beautifully and the evening flowed just as planned. We couldn't have chosen a better wedding planner.

Highly recommend working with MPE if you're new to the wedding industry or if you feel a bit lost when it comes to planning. We did a Style & Design with Melanie and then had our month of services with Kristina, who executed the day perfectly — even better than what I had pictured in my head. We wanted to simply walk into the venue on the day and have to do absolutely nothing, and it came to fruition. Completely worth the money and would definitely do it again!

We had to change our plans for our wedding a couple of times but Melanie and Paige were great at helping us find solutions and create the wedding we dreamt of! Paige was incredible on our wedding day and handled everything, so much so I didn’t even know somethings happened because she fixed the issues fast. Our little girl wasn’t loving the ceremony but Paige swept in and helped calm her down fast, I was so impressed with everything but that really stuck out to me. I can’t say enough great things about them. Thank you ladies for helping us make our special day even more special ❤️

Melanie was absolutely a life saver. She was a pro at evolving our plans with the ever changing public health orders. When plans changed two weeks before the wedding, she was able to create the most beautiful room for us with such short notice. She was always extremely responsive and kept us on track for the big day. Would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Couldn’t have done it without her!

We went with Melanie parent events for our wedding and could not be more pleased. We worked with Kristina for our wedding day and had no worries throughout the whole day. Hiring Melanie Parent Events was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. We were living in Vancouver and had to plan our Winnipeg wedding from afar and Mel was the sole reason that this could happen. She went above and beyond in every respect - from visiting vendors on our behalf to accommodating our busy schedules and arranging face time meetings early in the AM or late in the evenings. My husband and I always said that Mel made us feel like we were her only wedding (despite the fact she had dozens of others simultaneously on the go). She always made us feel like we were her number one priority by, for example, remembering every single detail of our vision and always being one step ahead in planning. She is incredibly organized, efficient, creative and is extremely kind and easy to work with. Several vendors went out of their way to say how lucky we were to be working with Mel. To us, this spoke volumes because not only do her clients rave about her but she is also highly respected in the industry - a true testament to the quality of her company. We were so impressed by her, we hired her to plan our rehearsal dinner as well. The entire weekend was a dream come true - but importantly the weekend did not come without some hiccups that were beyond anyone’s control (e.g., unpredictable weather changes, last minute guest cancellations, toddler flower girls gone rogue etc) but Mel managed everything so well that you would have never known anything was awry (and saved my husband and I any stress). We were also impressed by her assertiveness on the day of our wedding - she ensured it was the best day of our lives and was our voice so we could just enjoy every minute. Hiring Melanie Parent Events was the best money we spent for our wedding day. We also saved a substantial amount of money by using several of her recommended vendors (who were all excellent). We assure you that you will be blown away by the quality of her services. We will be definitely hiring her company for all our future social events.
