Planning a Montreal wedding from Vancouver seemed like quite a challenging task. Fortunately for us, we were blessed enough to have such amazing wedding planners helping us along the way. Melanie and Kaylie did a wonderful job assisting us in the planning and management of our wedding. They have made our wedding planning experience unforgettable, and allowed us to enjoy an effortless and perfect wedding day.

From our first meeting, we felt completely at ease with them. They were simply amazing to work with; knowledgeable, kind, professional, fun, understanding and organized. They helped guide us through all of the pre-wedding preparation and had great suggestions for all the wedding details. From venue scouting to service providers to schedule management, their advice and suggestions were outstanding. They provided a detailed wedding planning checklist, and ensured that all of the tasks were accomplished in time for our perfect day.

On our wedding day, they made sure we had nothing to worry about. We enjoyed every little moment without even the slight concern. They made sure the whole evening ran smoothly, and took care of all the details. My husband and I had an incredible wedding day, and all of our guests had only great things to say about their evening. This was in great part thanks to the Lovely & Lavish girls. We are so thankful for their help, and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Melanie and Kaylie did an amazing job with the day-of coordination package for my wedding at Le Pont Couvert. We met right before the wedding to go over the timeline (which was way more helpful and necessary than I knew at the time) and we were in communication many more times over email and phone. This package was perfect for me because I had a really specific vision and I wanted to put my own stamp on my wedding and do the legwork myself leading up to the day, but I knew I needed peace-of-mind the day of the wedding. I didn't want to have to worry about a thing the day-of, and I didn't.

Going with the Lovely and Lavish girls was an amazing decision. They really understood what I wanted and proved it by decorating the venue with my DIY projects better than I even imagined (the proof was the fact that I could not stop crying when I walked into the venue and saw how perfectly they put everything together).

I would recommend these ladies in a heartbeat. They are super professional and I was always confident that they were organized and knew what they were doing. They have excellent taste in decor and from my personal wedding experience, I'd say they are the perfect team to hire if you're going for a rustic look -- they really got my vision. Not only that, but they are also so sweet and genuinely awesome people. A joy to work with.

Oh and I should mention that they recommended both my caterer and makeup/hair artist and they were both INCREDIBLE and well-priced within our budget. Cannot recommend these girls enough!!

The Ladies of L&L were the best thing that happened to my wedding, they knew exactly what we needed exactly when we needed it. They were there with us every step of the way and really helped alleviate the typical wedding stresses.

These ladies are a force to be reckoned with! Before I start, I am typically a control-freak perfectionist who wants to be in charge. Surprisingly, when it came to my wedding planning and the day of, I was incredibly calm and collected and very comfortable keeping my distance from the stress of detail planning having these two ladies by my side every step of the way. At times, feeling a bit overwhelmed Melanie and Kaylie were able to bring us back down to earth and make sense of it all, making sure we were on track and not too stressed. They are talented, detail oriented, organized, and most importantly, will represent you and stand up for you when dealing with vendors. Speaking of vendors, each of them were incredible and had been suggested to us by the girls. Our day was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. We were on the same page throughout the entire planning process and they helped bring my vision to life. Ladies, I am incredibly honored that you were able to contribute such a large part to our day (and pretty much the 6 months leading up to it). We could not have done it without you, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I truly believe that we will be hearing much more about you two in the events world. Not only did I gain a husband, but two lovely lady friends :)

Our guests had an amazing time and we know in part it had to do with the hard work of L&L .

If you are planning any type of an event from a small gathering to the most important event of your life (you’re wedding!) we would highly recommend hiring the ladies of L&L . They relieved us of so much stress and made the entire process of planning a major event a wonderful experience!

My Wedding day could not have been the most memorable day of my life without the magic of the Lovely and Lavish Ladies. Kaylie and Melanie took over the management of our wedding day and ensured it ran smoothly. Not only did they do a fantastic job running everything from the caterer, to the dance troupe, to the DJ and the midnight snack, but they did it with a beautiful smile and were totally under control. I felt so confident and relaxed knowing they were handling everything that day and I am so thankful for their professionalism and kindness.

Melanie and Kaylie of Lovely & Lavish did a wonderful job coordination our wedding. From our very first meeting they were both kind, professional and organized. They always responded to our emails and questions promptly with tips, advice, vendor contacts, etc. They were a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend their services to everyone planning a wedding!

The day of the wedding, their help was invaluable. At first, we didn't exactly know what a wedding planner did, but their role became very quickly apparent. To begin with, they took care of setting up all of the décor, which had been sourced through several different vendors. The final product looked fantastic and brought together all of the elements exactly as we had envisioned.

Throughout the evening, they made sure everything was running smoothly, allowing us to enjoy our evening without having to worry about the details. More specifically, they did things like: distribute bubbles and help seat the guests at the reception, communicate with the DJ when he made a mistake with the order of the speeches, sew up a rip in my dress, bring me water before the ceremony, and so so much more. These are just little examples, but they are all elements that can cause significant stress on the big day. They also checked in with us from time to time to make sure things were going as planned. Whenever something needed to be done they just made it happen, never detracting from our enjoyment of the evening! Having them there helped make everything flow smoothly and allowed us to have the wonderful night we had dreamed of!

Our wedding night turned out exactly how we hoped, and this was in a great part thanks to the help of Lovely & Lavish. Their presence allowed us to fully enjoy our special day without stress.
