When I first started planning my wedding nearly a year and a half ago, I was a bit on the fence about hiring a wedding planner. Eventually, I came around to the idea when I realized how much work it would be and so I interviewed approximately 10-12 wedding planners in the GTA, and I had by far the best feeling about Zerlene. Now that my wedding is over, I would say that Zerlene was easily the single best investment we made in our wedding, and I attribute the success of our wedding entirely to her. From the start, Zerlene was incredibly organized and responsive. She remained on top of all the details, constantly reminding us about deadlines and decisions and did not let things slip through the cracks. Zerlene also had amazing vendor recommendations, attended all of our meetings and had questions for the vendors that I wouldn't have even thought to ask.
Zerlene went above and beyond. Our wedding was not an easy one - it was a large wedding (nearly 200 people), and we had a lot of individual guest accommodations and specific requests for various vendors. She was able to execute on all of it and always remained incredibly calm. Even in the face of a couple of difficult vendors that we were dealing with, Zerlene was on top of it - she reached out to them immediately and frequently, and she advocated for us to ensure that we got what we wanted.
If you are at all on the fence about hiring a wedding planner (or can't decide which you want to hire), you will absolutely not go wrong with Zerlene. She was the best decision we made, and I could not be happier with how our wedding turned out. Thanks to Zerlene, it will truly be remembered as the happiest day of my life. -

We hired Zerlene for our month of wedding coordination. She was the best decision we could have made. Even in some last minute wedding crisis’s she solved our issues so smoothly and quickly. She always made us feel like everything was going to go well and not to worry about anything. Our wedding would not have been what it was without her. We worked with Zerlene as our "day of" coordinator for our wedding and she was wonderful. We did a cocktail-style, downtown, city wedding and we were reassured to know Zerlene had experience with weddings that are less formal-sit down and more mix/mingle cocktail events. She was calm and organized, which was so reassuring and helpful during a time where there are a lot of moving parts and people to manage. While interviewing various wedding planners, we found some of them to be a bit overwhelming and pushing us on a lot of things they thought we should do, not necessarily hearing what our needs were (we wanted a more low-key, less traditional day). Zerlene really just listened to what we wanted, understood what kind of an event we were planning, and carried us through on what we discussed without any issues.
Would definitely recommend her expertise if you want a piece of mind on your wedding day! -

Zerlene was absolutely amazing for us. From the outset, we told her our budget, which did not align with any of her existing packages, and she sent us a custom plan that worked with our needs and our budget, somewhere between the full planning package and the month/week/day of coordinator package. We booked with her two years before our wedding date. In the first couple of months she helped us figure out a budget and how much we should be spending on each of our vendors based on our maximum budget and she sent us recommendations for venues, photographers, DJs, photobooths, florals/décor, etc. She also met with us periodically to make sure that we were staying on track.
At first we were responsible for all vendor communications and signing contracts, though Zerlene gave us guidelines to follow in terms of what questions to ask and what to look out for in our contracts. For the month leading up to the wedding, Zerlene took over vendor communications for all the final details and would send us summary emails with decisions we still needed to make, outstanding invoices, and other important details.
On the day of, she and her assistant Carmen set up a beautiful ceremony space for us, despite the last minute pivot to an indoor ceremony that we had to do because of the weather. She did amazing work with what we gave her to make the space perfect for us, even though it wasn’t what we had originally envisioned.
On the day of, I had a moment before the ceremony where I was really not feeling well and had a hard time communicating. She immediately identified it as low blood sugar and organized for someone to get me food and fruit juice. She remained calm and made sure that I was taken care of. During this time she also ran a quick rehearsal with our parents, wedding party, and officiant to make sure that everyone knew where they were going and what they were doing during the ceremony. With her organization and care, I recovered quickly and the ceremony ran very smoothly.
Her work at the reception was also really great. My husband and I were able to sit back and enjoy our dinners, the speeches, and the games without a hitch. She consulted with us as needed, but ultimately she took care of everything and made sure that we could enjoy our night. Before leaving, she made sure that our card box and gifts were packed up in a safe spot. That we don’t know the full extent of her efforts speaks volumes to the quality of her work and the service she provided us, for which we are grateful.

When we initially met Zerlene to discuss hiring her as our day of coordinator, her calm demeanour and warmth immediately put us at ease. After months of planning and preparation it was a huge relief to put it all in Zerlene’s capable hands.
From making sure everything and everyone was in it’s place and that the event moved along smoothly, Zerlene and her assistant Zoya allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our day without worrying about mishaps.
Zerlene’s attention to detail, professionalism and generous access to her throughout the whole process was so appreciated. Impresario Events is a definite recommend from this happy bride and groom :) -

From our initial meeting with Zerlene, she immediately stood out to us among the several wedding planners that we met with and spoke to.
We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional value for our money that we received from Zerlene's services, as we opted for a more extensive package that enlisted her services from the outset of our planning, just after getting engaged. She was consistently warm, kind, organized, reassuring, and professional - truly everything you could be looking for in this area of expertise.
We are all well aware of how stressful wedding planning can be, and I can say beyond a doubt that hiring Zerlene was the easiest choice we made in terms of ensuring that the process would be as stress-free as possible. She was always responsive, provided plenty of options for various vendors (being mindful of our budget, of course), and perhaps most importantly, ensured that our wedding day itself went as smoothly as possible.

Zerlene goes above and beyond for her clients. She is very efficient at creating day-of schedules and back-up plans. She also provides great recommendations. I hired Zerlene as a day-of coordinator but I felt supported and received kindness for months in advance. She is experienced and reliable- I would highly recommend her!
