Book With Them!!!!!!
Amazing is all I could say! I had the most beautiful, stress free, stunning wedding and it is all thanks to Melissa and her team at Coastal Weddings. The flowers were insanely gorgeous, the attention to details was spot on, the entire set up was magical. Melissa, Kelly and Cathie made everything simple and fun. All my fiancé and I had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves! -

I honestly have no idea what my wedding would have been without Kori & her team at Coastal Weddings. After canceling our first wedding we wanted something small, intimate, and something outside. From the beginning Kori took care of every last detail. She coordinated everything for me, and everything went smooth. Kori and her team were amazing on the day of. Set up and took down everything, had every last detail we wanted done, and had it all under control. I wasn't sure what to expect up until the day of but I am so glad I trusted Kori and let her take care of it all. Almost every guest told us that it was the BEST wedding they've ever gone to. I am so happy with our choice and I would recommend Kori and Coastal Weddings to anyone. Also just wanted to say thank you to Melissa for the most gorgeous florals I could ever imagine. -

Wonderful planner
Melissa was great! She made planning our wedding a breeze, did an amazing job on the design and decor and our florals, and was a treat to work with. Even after our wedding was delayed twice due to covid, she was super flexible and had great ideas on how to make our updated smaller wedding just as perfect. Definitely would recommend to anyone planning a wedding on the coast! -

Blame it on COVID, but I hired a wedding planner for the sake of making the day go smoothly. I didn’t expect perfection, but I was expecting it to go better than it did. At the rehearsal, we went over walking down the aisle (as a wedding party) multiple times with the music I had picked-and had exact timing for all of it so that my entry was perfectly timed. The day of my wedding, I was standing with my father waiting to walk down when I heard the music start at the wrong time. I looked at the wedding planner (Melissa) and mentioned the music wasn’t right. She just smiled and said no it’s all good! When the last of the bridal party had walked down and it was my turn, the song was almost over! I wasn’t even halfway down the aisle before I realized she had played a YouTube video of the song I requested-at this point the lady singing the song on the “YouTube video” was explaining why she chose to sing the song etc etc…I was mortified. Melissa gave no apology and in fact pretended it didn’t happen.
I found Melissa to be difficult to hear over the phone during meetings and often seemed unorganized.
The food was not nearly as good as what they said it would be. Very mediocre.

Congrats again on your wedding, I am very sorry you felt the process was not as smooth as you had hoped! It was certainly challenging to plan a wedding with so many unknowns and things outside our control with the challenging times of Covid.
The music was outside of my control and our team did the best we could with a major technical malfunction and we are very sorry about that and have put in steps to make sure we have a better backup! I did think I mentioned it after but in the excitement of the day I should have made a point to discuss it in more detail.

Wedding Perfection
Melissa and her team handled our day with such amazing care and attention to detail! She worked tirelessly on every call for the months leading right up to the day of our wedding insuring any and every detail was taken care of! They blew every expectation out of the water. I can not thank her enough for all her hard work and making our day more amazing than we could have dreamt of. -

If I didn't have Kori helping me this year, I don't think we could have handled all the changes. She was able to help us change things from our 100+ person wedding to an intimate elopement and we don't think it could have been more perfect, she literally made our dreams come true. -

We had an unreal experience with Kori at Coastal Weddings and Events! She was incredibly knowledgeable, composed and professional through the many Covid curveballs that were sent our way. We can’t say enough good things about our experience and our intimate ceremony was absolutely perfect. -

Amazing elopement
Melissa and her team are the best!
I went into planning this elopement not having a clue what I was doing. Melissa took care of everything and it turned out so wonderful!
The setting was absolutely perfect. Which made for gorgeous pictures taken by Paige, who was so great! Melissa even watched my young children as we took solo newly wed pictures. They had the best time catching crabs on the beach with her.
The flowers were exactly as I had envisioned. So beautiful. The little flower crown for my daughter was so sweet.
Fuzhan, who is so lovely did my hair and makeup which I loved.
Every detail was perfect. Melissa was the first wedding planner I contacted. After talking with her and seeing photos of her previous work I knew I wanted her and her team. I never bothered to shop around elsewhere. So glad I made that decision.
Thank you so much for the amazing memories on the Sunshine Coast. -

Chatterbox Falls Elopment
Honestly the day was perfect, better than we could have ever dreamed! Melissa and all of the vendors did the most amazing job making sure everything was exactly what we wanted. I would do it all over exactly the same. -
