Just WOW! A++++
My wedding was August 3, 2019 and Suzanne and her team at CSE made sure everything ran smoothly. I had the pleasure of meeting Robbie, one of her employees on the wedding day and he was so attentive and accommodating.
Suzanne provides me vendor options for each category that fit within my budget. Her recommendations were great and I was extremely happy with each vendor she suggested that I booked.
There were some bumps along the wedding planning which were no fault to CSE but Suzanne handled them and assured me everything would work out.
Communication with Suzanne was great. She is a type A personality, extremely organized and attentive to details. She was available when I needed her and returned my emails, texts, and calls quickly.
As I mentioned, there were issues leading up to the wedding with other vendors I booked (not recommended by CSE) and Suzanne handled every situation with professional and grace. She accompanied me to visit one vendor to communicate about our situation which she did not have to do. She was there to support me and took the time out of her busy schedule to make sure I was comfortable for this meeting.
Suzanne put in extra time and energy to ensure my wedding day ran according to plan. I am not sure how she does it all, but she does!
Hiring a wedding planner is something I wasn’t sure I wanted to do but I’m so RELIEVED and HAPPY I did! If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner like me, please seriously consider Suzanne and her team. I do not regret hiring her and spending the money on a planner. IT WAS THE BEST MONEY I SPENT on my wedding. Hiring Suzanne was the best decision I made - do yourself a favour and allow yourself the support and expertise throughout your wedding and the days/months leading up to the wedding.
She has everything organized online on google docs so it’s easy to view and access. I trusted her experience and expertise with contract overview and vendor services.
She went above and beyond in every aspect of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, her and Robbie were extremely accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we were happy. She even brought us a plate of appetizers, napkins and drinks when we arrived at the reception because she knew me and the groom would be hungry.
I had forgotten a garter for the garter toss and asked Suzanne around 3PM on the wedding day if she could find me one for the scheduled garter toss that evening. Of course, she handled it and I had my choice of garters to choose from - white or blue.
The cost for her services is a fraction of what she deserves for everything she does. Suzanne saved me hundreds of dollars! The bakery she suggested was the best price and the cake was phenomenal. She helped with rental pick up and delivery to cut my costs. She was efficient with my budget and assisted where she could to bring down costs. She did an amazing job with the set up and take down of specific items at the venue. In the end, she is the reason I stayed in budget.
I felt like I had a best friend helping me during the time leading up the wedding. Suzanne was the hero behind the scenes and our day was perfect because of it. On the wedding day, one of my vendors (I chose independently, not suggested by Suzanne) was over two hours and hadn’t even apologized. Suzanne came to the hotel on the wedding day to make sure things were resolved. She advocated for me which was so nice on the big day because it was the last thing I wanted to do on the morning of the wedding.
I just can’t say enough about how fantastic my experience was with CSE and Suzanne. Please do yourself a favour, give CSE a call and have a free consultation. You will NOT be disappointed and I promise you it will be the best money spent in terms of vendors. Suzanne outdid herself - all of my friends and family were impressed with her on the wedding day.
We are still working on settling the final invoice with my reception venue and even though she is busy, Suzanne is still assisting me with this. I’d be lost without her so I’m extremely grateful for her help.
Suzanne is literally the fairy godmother-type wedding planner you see in the movies. She does it all. My wedding was perfect thanks to her and her team! Like I said earlier, if you’re unsure if you want to spend the money on a wedding planner, I can strongly say Suzanne and CSE are worth every penny and more. She saved me hundreds of dollars and put in endless hours organizing every detail for my wedding.
A++++++ INCREDIBLE SERVICE
1. Organization - Suzanne met with me multiple times to help me organize my vision for the wedding. She made sure that the vendors understood my goals for the wedding and didn't let them get out of hand. She also was very cognizant of my budget and made sure that the wedding was beautiful and perfect without breaking the bank. Even though she was a "day of" planner, she gave me a clear timeline and checked in really regularly. Also in the weeks leading up to the wedding, she helped pick up decor, build decor, take me shopping for items that I couldn't decide on and reminded me about things that I had completely forgotten to do!
2. Day of - My wedding was a 2 day wedding (ceremony and dinner party for a small group of 26 on Friday and then a big party on Saturday evening). Suzanne organized both days and they went flawlessly. Suzanne and her team did all the set up, so that I could focus on getting ready and spending time with my family before the wedding! It was all in my parents backyard - to make it magical they put up beautiful lighting. They set up chairs, took down the ceremony stuff and set up the dinner tables. When things weren't where they needed to be, she just made it work without me having to know or be stressed about it. It was just PERFECT.
3. Clean up - Suzanne's team did all the take down. They organized for me to pick up the items from the venue the next day. Cleaners were hired so all I had to do was collect my decor and gifts.
It was just the most wonderful experience. I cannot say enough good things about City Skyline Events. The next time we have a big party we will get them to organize it! Thanks so much Suzanne and team!
