Capturing the crisp details and wide spectrum of heartfelt emotions on your wedding day, Allison Kuhl and Erin Wild of Wonderlust Photography will create personalized images that distinctly reflect your personalities. Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Allison and Erin specialize in contemporary and photojournalistic styles. While Erin comes from Burnaby, Allison was brought up amidst the prairies in Winnipeg. Despite having different backgrounds, they share a passion for documenting love stories, shedding a tear or two while photographing weddings, and producing natural and whimsical wedding imagery.

Experience

The duo met each other in photography school in 2005. Since then, Allison and Erin have been inseparable. Allison and Erin’s work has been featured in Mountainside Bride and Junebug Weddings.

Services offered

Allison and Erin’s work is covered by liability insurance. Photography services and items such as additional hours, multiple locations, fine art wedding albums, digital files, save the dates, canvas, prints, and thank you cards, are available. Additionally, the duo offers wedding packages that include the following services:

  • Private online gallery available to you within six to eight weeks

I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Erin and Allison. They are so warm, so kind, so fun and smart and professional and talented and just... amazing. Our wedding would have been very different (in a bad way) without their expertise as they offered suggestions for other vendors, discussed ideas, and provided planning materials for items we had not considered. They are so organized and really helped us to smoothly navigate unknown territory with their guidance and support.

All this AND they turn out the most incredible photos. We have so many captured memories from them this year that show us as we really are and we couldn't be happier with them. We are so grateful to have found Wonderlust Photography and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

Erin and Allison did our engagement and wedding shoot in 2016. They are absolutely amazing photographers that we would recommend to any of our friends. From our first meeting we realized they are warm and friendly people that would be easy to get along with. This was important to us because we felt we would be comfortable and "ourselves" infront of the camera on the most important day of our lives and to get the most natural shots possible.

On our engagement shoot they went above and beyond their professional duties to get us the best shots possible. They encouraged us to make each other laugh so that we not only enjoyed our day but got amazing shots. We really appreciated that they happily went beyond contracted number of hours to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. By the time our wedding day came we already felt like Erin and Allison were a part of our wedding. We actually really enjoyed the period of time between ceremony and reception when we went for our photoshoot because it felt like an intimate time to ourselves.

We were extremely happy with our photos and got compliments from our friends and family. We highly recommend working with Wonderlust if you want your wedding day to go smoothly and a set of beautiful photos to commemorate the date. We cannot say enough about what a pleasure these two were to work with.

We Loved Wonderlust!

Wedding photos were really important to us, so we took the time to meet with several photographers before going with Wonderlust and are so glad we did! They knocked it out of the park!

Not only are Erin and Alison great people to be around (and you will spend a lot of time with your photographers, so this is important!), they are excellent photographers who go the extra mile to understand exactly what you are looking for to deliver perfect shots that really capture the day. From patiently listening to our relatively specific descriptions of the types of shots we wanted, reviewing our pinterest board, scouting the venue and photo spots (and back up locations) and providing helpful feedback on our timeline, we couldn’t have asked for more from Wonderlust. Their beautiful photos exceeded our high expectations and we will treasure them forever.

Erin and Alison are experienced, professional, organized and excel at what they do - we would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Amazing Photographers!

We used Wonderlust for our wedding this past September and we are so thrilled that we chose Erin and Allison as our photographers. Choosing the photographers for our wedding day was one of the most difficult and important decisions that we made for our wedding. The photos are the lasting memory that you will have forever after the day is over. After meeting with many photographers and viewing many portfolios, we met with Erin and Allison and knew right away that they would be the perfect fit for us. They are very professional, down to earth, creative, and take amazing photos. We would recommend them to anyone looking for photographers who capture beautiful candid shots as well as gorgeous portrait style.
Not only do they take amazing photos, but they are so helpful on the wedding day. After our ceremony, myself and my MOH felt a little faint and Erin and Allison brought us fruit and bottled water! They helped the entire day run smoothly and they kept us on track.
We used Erin and Allison for both our engagement shots and our wedding photos and we could not be happier. They are great at scouting beautiful, creative locations.

Great Experience, even better photos!

We had a really great experience with Wonderlust Photography. Erin and Allison were extremely personable and fun to work with and they helped put us at ease right away. We had our engagement and wedding photos done by them and we couldn't be happier with the results. Erin and Allison felt more like friends on our big day, than hired photographers. They were prompt in getting our photos back to us and checked in to make sure we were completely happy with them.
We would suggest Wonderlust to ANYONE getting married! You will not be disappointed.

Having great wedding photos was extremely important to me, you can never get those moments back. We met with multiple photographers in our search but felt instantly comfortable with Erin and Alison. Initially we had no interest in having engagement photos done but on the recommendation of Wonderlust we did and I can't tell you how glad I am that we did. My husband and I both learnt what shots we liked and which we really didn't care for. Erin and Alison went through every photo with us to make sure they understood exactly what we liked in order to provide the best possible shots from our wedding day. On our wedding day we somehow got the only rain all summer but Erin and Alison had backup photo locations all ready to go which calmed our nerves a little. During the ceremony and reception we hardly even noticed them running around taking pictures but the results were amazing. Our final pictures were provided right within the 6-8 weeks they had told us. We would 100% recommend Wonderlust to anyone looking for a photographer.

I highly recommend you use Al and Erin for your engagement and wedding photos. They have so much passion and creativity and it truly shows in their pictures. They got up at the crack of dawn for our engagement shoot and they turned out AMAZING!! For our engagement and wedding photos, we received teaser photos soon after and our entire wedding album after two months! We had so many compliments on our wedding photos with our friends and family telling us the pictures they had captured made you feel like you were reliving the wedding day all over again. I am so happy with their work and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Al and Erin for capturing the best day of my life! =)

We were married in May, and lucky enough to have Erin and Allison take the photos. We initially met with several photographers and were having trouble finding a good fit - the second we met up with the two of them we knew we had found the right people. They asked great questions, were really professional and easy to work with, and most importantly they captured the most amazing photos we could have asked for our wedding day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for fantastic photos for any situation.

We were truly blessed with having Erin and Allison photograph our wedding! They far exceeded our expectations. What stood out for us was how organized and hard working they were through the whole process. Our brother and best man, who got married 2 years before, commented that he wished he had Erin and Allison photograph his wedding because they were the most professional wedding photographers he had seen. Allison and Erin were absolutely amazing! They did a spectacular job from start to finish. From the initial meet and greet over skype, they were both focused on learning about what we pictured for our day, who we are, and how they can best capture the love and the history that was being made. AND they NAILED IT! We couldn't be happier with their professionalism, energy, quality of their work & speed in turning it all around to get us our photos quicker than we expected. We would Most defiantly recommend Wonderlust. In fact we feel sorry for those who DONT book them! Thanks again ladies, you really did a fantastic job. and bonus points for being super awesome fun people too! 1 year anniversary photo shoot? :) P&L
