We booked Michael through our wedding package at Newland's, it was overwhelming with their large choice of photographers but Michael's album stood out the most to my husband so we decided to book him. He was exceptionally helpful through the entire experience, from setting up meetings, to pose guidance, and even just helping set a comfortable vibe for everyone involved. All of my family and friends keep talking about how great his personality was, and everyone loves the photos. He was so sneaky during the ceremony and reception, there's so many amazing candid's, some of my favorite photos are ones I never even knew he had taken. We were so happy with the amount of photos we got back, there's not a single bad picture, it's been nearly impossible to narrow down a handful of favorites. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience. -

Professional, personable, and efficient!
Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with our large family, and exceedingly quick getting our proofs to us! We couldn’t be happier with our finished wedding photos! -

Joyful & Relaxes
My husband and I really enjoyed working with Michael for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Michael captured so many special moments. You can tell he has been in this business for a long time as he knows what he’s doing. Before the wedding he made it a point to take lists of the photos we wanted on top what he already planned to do. He went above and beyond on our wedding day. After the wedding we got out photos back within a week! Edited and originals were ready for us on flash drives. I will cherish these photos forever. -

We chose Michael as part of the wedding planning package at Newlands and from our engagement session knew that we picked the right photographer for us.
Michael made it very easy for us to take good shots as he helped us pose (both of us were clueless so we needed someone who gave good directions).
Michael was very communicative throughout the whole process and we really never had to worry about anything to do with photography.
On the day of the Wedding, Michael figured out a bit of a workaround the rainy weather, dealt with "particular" family members with grace and ease ensuring that he was getting the shots we planned for.
After all was done, he delivered beautiful images and spent extra time with us in person perfecting the layout of our album. He never made us feel like we were asking too many questions, or were picky or anything like that.
We loved working with Michael and would absolutely recommend him to others. -

The first time we met Michael, we were both struck by how comfortable we felt with him. He is very personable, easy to get a long with, good humoured, knowledgable, professional, and kind. Big smiles were easily had. On the day of our wedding, Michael was on the ball as soon as he arrived. He had a game plan, and did his thing. I did not worry once how it would go. He knows what works and what doesn't, his eye for context, design, and artistic flair was evident. He was able to direct my group and my guests in a fun yet concise manner, enabling him to yield us A TONNE of amazing photos. He spends an excellent amount of time with you and his price can't be beat. He also offers little extra services such as getting high quality books printed for you. I will not hesitate to recommend Michael ever to anyone. You will not be disappointed with Stanton's Photography. -

Comfortable and relaxed
Michael was FANTASTIC, we had a slightly unconventional wedding with very little actually planned and he did a wonderful job of catching all the little twists and turns! We're not the most photogenic people, but he worked some magic and now I have so many photos I get to cherish forever :) 10/10 would recommend! -
