Serena and John were fantastic. They were a great team, they knew exactly what they wanted and needed, and they made the day so easy for me. I would highly recommend them.

Serena and her husband are an extraordinary photography duo who truly made our wedding day easy and fun as they captured every moment we wanted . We knew we were in good hands and the photos are absolutely stunning! We can't believe how good they turned out and how quick Serena was at providing them all to us. We heard stories of people waiting 6+ months to get a single photo back from other photographers - Serena is pure magic and a professional. Highly recommend for your wedding or precious life events.

When selecting our photographer it was important to not only have someone who took beautiful photos, but also someone who you would want around on your most important day. Serena and husband Jon (second photographer) were absolutely amazing! We first met them when we did our engagement shoot and they always made us feel relaxed and comfortable like you are just hanging out with friends but with a lot of extra smiling for the photos! They knew exactly how to place us and get us to do what we needed for the perfect photos. Because they are a couple, any time we didn't understand something they were able to model/demonstrate for us what we needed to do. We were excited to be able to work with them again on our wedding day and they were able to capture our day beautifully! It was quite a windy day but you wouldn't know it from all the beautiful photos we ended up getting back. I couldn't believe how quickly we got all of our photos back (two weeks) and they are all absolute perfection! She even did them in black and white as well so we have LOTS of options!! They were so fun to work with and we can't wait to take life's next big steps so that we have a reason to work with them again!! I cant say enough good things and would absolutely recommend hiring Serena a thousand times over! Thank you both for capturing our special day so perfectly!! :)

We cannot say enough good things about Serena and Jon. They did an engagement session for us as well as our wedding, which was helpful as neither of us are comfortable in front of the camera. Serena and Jon, professionals that they are, managed to make us look normal (even presentable) in our engagement photos, and our experience with the wedding photos was even better -- I think it's actually maybe a bit less stressful than the engagement photos because there is so much else going on. We did our engagement photos in a park that they recommended, which resulted in a collection of great photos in different settings, so we were happy to also take their location advice on the wedding day itself. Most of our wedding photos were done by the Burlington waterfront, which offered a wealth of options. We were also lucky enough to have a misty day with perfect diffuse light for the photos. Serena and Jon also recommended a quick trip up to Kelly's Bakeshop for photos, which was a fantastic idea.

If you are nervous or feel that you are not photogenic, you are in good hands with Serena and Jon. They are both utterly professional, and beyond competent. They periodically showed us a photo they had taken, which was reassuring as the day was still in progress. They captured family photos efficiently, and left copious time for shots of the two of us together. We trusted them even when we felt staged, and the results were impressive. They worked together to capture all of the "getting ready" shots that we wanted, and the fact that they shoot together meant that we always had options for the ceremony and reception photos.

After learning that my husband is a Star Wars fan and wanted to use his lightsaber as a prop, Serena and Jon engaged in some secret plotting and surprised us with sunset lightsaber photos with a smoke bomb. The results are truly stunning, and we could not be more grateful for their creativity. They shared that photo promptly after the wedding, and also offered a Star Wars themed teaser promptly after. The way they integrated our interests and made it work on camera is something that we will treasure.

The bottom line: Serena and Jon are a phenomenal team, and their work is thorough, creative, and captivating. We loved having them at our wedding, and cannot recommend their work highly enough. They even shot our wedding on their anniversary! They both seem to be romantics, and that's an invaluable quality in a wedding photographer.

Where do I even begin with Serena?? When I was originally looking for a photographer, I met with Serena and instantly fell in love with her amazing personality and charm. Personally, she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and she won me over by not just treating me like a potential client, but a friend.
I met her second shooter, (husband Jon) during our engagement photo shoot, and working with both of them was so much fun! There's nothing they're not willing to do for a good shot, they work so well together, and make you feel really comfortable in front of the camera. The whole day was filled with jokes and laughter, like a couple of friends hanging out and two of them happen to be casually taking your photo.. Every single one of the e-pics were sent to me within a few weeks of the shoot, and they came out beautifully!
When wedding day arrived, Serena and Jon showed up on time and ready to shoot! They totally took the reins on what needed to happen and not only acted as photographers, but also wedding co-coordinators while they communicated between my husband and I regarding first look location, getting ready, etc.. I didn't have to worry about a single thing!
During our photo session the two of them were practically bridesmaids; fixing my dress, fixing my hair, holding my bouquet, even giving me her shoes to wear when I got sick of my heels! Honestly, I've never known any other photography duo to be so attentive and personable than these two.
All of the wedding photos (over 1000) were sent to me within 2 weeks of the wedding, and I was blown away with how beautiful every single picture turned out.. I actually can't stop looking at them!!
I will miss working with Serena & Jon so much and cannot wait until I have another excuse to do a photo shoot with them!

Serena and Jon were such a pleasure to work with! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day they were so organized and helped make the day run so smoothly. Serena was always available to answer any questions I had and was super helpful in making my day of timeline. All our pictures were stunning and we got them back really quickly.

What a great experience we had with Serena (and Jon)! We loved her photography style because she was able to capture great photos and the couples never looked posed or awkward. She includes the engagement session which is great because I felt very confident going into the wedding day and I knew what to expect. Serena was a dream to work with, we have used her for family photos before which we loved and I could not be happier with our wedding and engagement photos. We hired Serena as our photographer for our Wedding held at the Riverbend Inn in NOTL on October 3rd, 2015. From our initial meeting all the way through the planning process right up to the big day Serena was amazing to deal with. Very professional, quick to respond to questions and reliable.
