Sean & I decided to elope in Kaslo but we live in Kelowna. We'd only visited the area briefly once before, so we didn't really know where our outdoor wedding location would be or who the photographers were in the area. We researched and spoke with a few photographers and are over the moon about choosing Jamie for our wedding photographer. Jamie was very genuine, accommodating, kind, welcoming, reassuring, and willing to help us figure out what we wanted and how to make it happen. As we weren't familiar with the area, he honestly discussed potential outdoor wedding locations and helped us choose the perfect one, Fletcher Falls. Jamie was the perfect combination of chill, yet experienced and confident. Easy going and relaxed, yet ready to step in with suggestions and did so with a gentle ease. I was nervous about 'posing' for photos, but the relaxed energy and ideas allowed him to capture our special day perfectly. I am astounded at the way he was able to capture the real essence of us and our moments so well. I appreciated all of his suggestions along the way. He was not pushy or dismissive in any way and really heard our requests and included them well. He was always available when I had questions, did a great job of following up in emails with details in a punctual manner, and he made sure to reassure us and keep the planning and the wedding day stress free. I would, without a doubt, choose Jamie again without hesitation. His willingness to negotiate smaller details due to our elopement was another reason we chose him. He even went above and beyond to ensure we had a second witness arranged to eliminate any anxiousness we had. And, above all, the photos!! Incredible. Beyond my expectations. What a gift. Jamie was my wedding photographer and he did a great job, we were a little unorganized throughout the afternoon and evening he kept us on track, told us what to expect from him and kept me informed while we were waiting for our edited photos. We received tons of pictures of our day which we will cherish forever. Still patiently waiting for our video from him as well! He was very professional yet personable. We hired Jamie for our wedding pictures, and even though we hadn’t met in person until the actual wedding day, he was nothing but easy and a pleasure to work and deal with.
On our wedding day, Jamie was super laid back, professional and super fun to work with. He made me feel super comfortable while taking photos, and that was one thing I was nervous about. He was amazing with all the kids that were kicking around the wedding!

Jamie was more than willing to work with our ideas, and had some of his own ideas when we didn’t know what other photo poses we should do! Which was a bonus seeing as we took him a few km up a bumpy dirt road in scorching heat!

I honestly wish I had more reasons to get photographed, I would hire him over and over and over in a heartbeat.
