We hired Sophie of Raw Footage for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. The whole process was completely seamless. We weren't certain we wanted to do engagement photos but as Sophie said it was a great opportunity to get comfortable behind the camera before the big day and the evening just turned out so fun. Sophie is an absolute pleasure to work with, so kind and makes you feel so comfortable. She is very organized, she reached out a few weeks ahead of the wedding to make sure we were feeling set and that all our questions were answered. We just got the photos back and the cute little photo box she gives all her clients they are exactly as we hoped, so many beautiful photos I am not sure how we will choose which ones to print!

We chose Sophie from Raw Footage Photography for our engagement and wedding photos and couldn't be happier with the results. To choose a photographer, we did a photo preference test (lining up the best photos of 8 photographer options without labels) and then held phone interviews with the top picks. Raw Footage was our choice because of the natural, light filled photography style and fun but professional attitude.

During the planning process, Sophie was very responsive and helpful, never balking at our questions, no matter how unusual. Our engagement session was our first time working with a professional photographer and Sophie guided us through the process. We were married in June 2019 at the Oakwood Resort in Grand Bend and 6 weeks later have 1,000 + beautiful edited photos to prove it! Sophie and her assistant, Melissa, were rock stars all day. Amidst numerous challenges, they were completely unruffled. Sophie was calm, collected and on point for the whole 9 hours. Bridal party photos around the resort were a ton of fun and she captured all the candid special moments we will treasure. Sophie took initiative to ensure we snuck out for sunset photos at the perfect time and checked in with us throughout the day to see if we wanted to deviate at all from plans. She handled our family, bridal party and guests perfectly and went above and beyond to contributed the overall success of the day. Every time we look through our photos we notice more incredible details - the lighting, the emotions, the background. We would highly recommend Sophie from Raw Footage!

Sophie is amazing, She in visioned everything we wanted. We Love our pictures. We will for sure always have Sophie capture all of our greatest moments in life. Her work speaks for it self!
