My wife and I have worked with Sadie twice, first for our engagement shoot and second for our wedding day one year later. We were extremely happy with the photos captured each time! Not only does Sadie take beautiful photos, she is incredibly easy going and aims to capture candid shots rather than staged poses (although she is happy to do both)!

My husband and I have never felt so at ease taking photographs than with Sadie. I couldn't stop laughing and smiling during shoots, enough that she had to ask for serious pictures. She is fantastic at directing you how to pose and what shots to do, so any fears that you are unphotogenic can go right out the window. Everyone loved our engagement photos and were so impressed with her and Ray, her assistant, on the day of our wedding. Sadie photographed our wedding in September 2021. As anyone can imagine, our plans changed more than a couple of times during the pandemic and Sadie was always on-board and excited for each version of our plan. The photos were fabulous and we were able to re-live our special day through them but more importantly our family and friends who were unable to attend the wedding felt like they were there. Sadie from l’orangerie has been as accommodating as possible throughout the many changes we had to make throughout the first pandemic year. On the wedding day, Sadie carried herself professionally with a positive and easy-going attitude. She quickly identifies the conditions she needs for her shots and efficiently directs us on how we would take them.
