We could not be happier with our choice to work with Al! We're a camera-shy couple and he made us feel so comfortable and at ease for both our engagement session and wedding day photos. We were drawn to his work especially in indoor, wood spaces as we were married in a church and he did not disappoint--our indoor ceremony photos came back breathtaking and so warm, as well as our outdoor engagement shoot and portraits.

Our guests commented to us, "every time I looked, he was somewhere else and I hadn't seen or heard him move!" He covered the large church and reception hall with ease, even as a solo photographer. We would not hesitate to recommend Al to friends and other couples!

My wife & I were lucky enough to have Alan shoot our wedding this past summer and the results were amazing! After originally booking Alan for 2020 (and then 2021...) we finally we're able to get married this year and was so great to have Alan capture our big day. Alan est un passionné qui a pris le temps de connaître notre couple et notre projet de mariage. Nous avons eu le plaisir de le rencontrer plusieurs fois avant le jour J afin de s’appuyer sur son expérience des mariages pour définir le programme photographique de la journée ce qui nous a permis de penser (et répondre) à des questions qu’on ne s'était même pas posés! (Les photos de groupe, avant ou après le vin d’honneur ?) Il a pris le temps de regarder nos inspirations et de nous conseiller pour les photos et le déroulement de la journée.

Une fois le jour J arrivé, Alan fit ce qu’il fait de mieux: guider tout en étant discret. En effet, il a su organiser des moments tels que les photos de groupe tout en se faisant oublier lors de moments plus intimes.

Nous avons été émerveillés du résultat, les photos respectent les inspirations qu’on lui avait suggéré mais également capturent les émotions de l’instant.

Alan nous a proposé une formule avec day after; ce qui nous a permis de se concentrer plus sur nous, d’être au calme et de moins être préoccupé par le déroulement de la journée.
Les lieux qu’il a choisi étaient très romantiques ; le rendu des photos est époustouflant, il a su capturer la lumière et les émotions du moment. Très émouvant, merci beaucoup Alan!

Si vous voulez garder des souvenirs inoubliables et de magnifiques photos, il est le photographe qu’il vous faut.

While we couldn't get Alan with us for the preparations, he met us at the town hall before the ceremony. He took pictures of the guests, bride and groom (who weren't allowed to see each other yet) but also of the rings and accessories. The pictures are very natural, they are shots of conversations, moments forever stopped, rather than just poses. Alan is very attentive, and he will catch on the little details. He can do poses too though, he took shots of everyone together and smaller groups before we moved on to the party.
Then we did the couple pictures. These were very important to us, as I am sure they are to everyone. We had to move fast to due the sun setting early in autumn. But then again Alan know his art. He took advantage of the declining light and the sunset pictures are simply fabulous! Such a romantic vibe. We ain't just romantic though, and Alan had brought us some smoke bombs. They were fun to have and the result is superb. We love these pictures. And in case you're worried: the smoke didn't cause any issue to us or our clothes ; it's completely safe. Again the pictures look very natural, Alan has a trick to get that result but I don't want to spoil it. He was happy to follow our ideas and gave us suggestions when we were out of them.
Later the evening he took a few pictures without us noticing anything. We only found out when we received them.
We are really glad we hired Alan for our wedding, I knew he would do a fantastic job and we weren't disappointed.
