Situated between Westmount and downtown Montreal, Quebec, Club Atwater is a wedding venue that opened its doors in 1926 and has been providing stellar event services since. Recently renovated, it now offers a modern ambiance without losing the essence of the historic Tudor mansion. Club Atwater has a range of services and amenities that make the venue perfect for accommodating any of your big-day needs. From intimate weddings to big family gatherings, Club Atwater is the ideal backdrop for all your entertaining needs.
Facilities and capacity
Club Atwater has spaces for groups of up to 200 people. Your guests will be pleased and always remember your event hosted at the Club, regardless of the space you utilize in the venue.
Club Atwater has different spaces available to book, including Penfield Hall, The Gallery, Hanford Cocktail Lounge and Bar, Maison Library, The Dining Room, and The Cellar.

The perfect venue
Choosing Club Atwater was the best decision we made for our wedding. As a very particular bride, I saw many venues, but nothing compared. Club Atwater wasn’t just the best choice, it was the only choice. The venue is breathtaking, but the experience is made truly exceptional by the incredible team behind it.
Communication was always prompt, every detail was handled flawlessly. Our day was perfect, magical, and completely stress-free thanks to them. They deserve every 5-star review they get. Highly, highly recommend!

Perfect day
The team at Club Atwater was extremely responsive and available during the month leading to our big day. They made everything easy and saved us when the groom forgot an essential part of our ceremony. Even the team at their cafe on site was extremely helpful and brought my order for my bridal party to our room. The venue is so beautiful it didn't need much decorations. You can do as much or as little as you want in their different rooms. It is a great place that have different sized rooms depending on your needs.

A flawless experience!
There’s no doubt, our wedding at Club Atwater was perfect! A highly skilled team and a stunning venue… what more could we ask for? We were charmed by the space when we first visited, but it’s more than just a beautiful venue, it’s the experienced people who truly made our wedding day the most memorable of our lives!

Small Wedding Perfection
Truly cannot recommend this venue enough! From the very beginning, the team at Club Atwater was extremely helpful, honest, friendly, and accommodating. They were open to any and all suggestions and requests, and provided support wherever possible. Their facilities are stunning, with impeccable service to match that our guests appreciated. Our wedding was as perfect as it was in large part due to the wonderful staff and stunning venue that makes up Club Atwater!

Amazing Experience - Wedding
Our wedding at the Atwater Club was truly more than we could have hoped for...particularly in a pandemic. The event spaces are beautiful and offer a lot of flexibility. We had our ceremony and reception in the Penfield Hall, and cocktail hour in the Handford Lounge. The staff is extremely professional and the catering exceeded our expectations. The cocktail hour stations were beautiful and delicious. Some of our guests told us that this was the best wedding food they ever had. A special thank you to Melissa So who was a tremendous help and very committed to my special day, and to the catering staff led by Mehdi who were very attentive to our guests' needs throughout the evening. I would recommend this venue to anyone!
