Eric and his team made our July 1st wedding effortless and beautiful. The food was delicious and the venue beautiful. Thank you Eric for making us feel at ease from the very first visit to an unforgettable day. We would absolutely recommend and highly encourage anyone to book their special day at the Forest and Stream Club.

This was a destination wedding for me and everyone that came. We went with the Diamond package for open bar after dinner. It’s very reasonably priced vs other venues, as they provide the furniture and handle the staffing and setups/takedowns. It’s a quaint, beautiful location- ... View more right on the water, in a very nice area, and worth every penny! The best was having a person from the venue (Eric) manage the details of having everything in one space, especially since I was all the way in Georgia and had never seen the venue until the week of the wedding. Eric, the coordinator, was a gem and responded promptly to the many, many questions I had leading up the the big day. Listen to everything Eric suggests, because he knows what he’s doing. I didn’t listen to him with some of the vendor selections, and I definitely regret that. Throughout the whole process, he instilled so much calm, that I had no problem leaving everything in his hands. To me, that’s priceless. Provided by venue: Day-of wedding planner, dinner tables, cocktail hour tables, sweet table, couches, dinner chairs, altar, gazebo outside for ceremony (weather permitting), ceremony chairs (included in the fee to have ceremony there), board with stand (which we used for the seating chart), candles for the tables, linens, dinnerware, glassware, silverware, a table for the guest book, lots of other tables and chairs, a card box for gift cards, the bar, coffee/tea/cheese/water, bathrooms, coat hanging closet, set up/take down of what they provide. Day of details: We had everything at Forest and Stream Club- bride and groom parties getting ready, the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner reception, and dancing/cake. Don’t be afraid that there are multiple rooms where things take place, because it all works out perfectly- the rooms are so close together. We had about 70 guests. The place speaks for itself, and you really don’t need that many extra decorations. The food and wine was AMAZING, which was one of the most important aspects for us. We had a bunch of French people there, and everyone is still raving about the food! The bridal and groom parties got ready upstairs, away from the guests. Groomsmen had the room closest to the staircase, and the bridal party had two huge rooms to get ready. We had the ceremony in the main dining area (because it was too cold and rainy to have it outside with the beautiful gazebo that comes with booking the place). In the main dining area, it’s all windows with a view of the lake. At cocktail hour, guests were moved to the living room-also with a beautiful view of the lake- while the staff put up the dinner tables in the dining area (there are doors in the living room to block anyone seeing them do this). The guests were also able to mingle outside, weather permitting. We ended up fitting all 70 guests in the dining room after purchasing smaller chairs than the ones the venue provided (Eric also handled the vendor for the smaller purchased chairs, so helpful!). We had seat assignments with a white glove service, and the staff executed the dinner service impeccably! No glass left unfilled, and everything came out perfectly. I hope everyone lucks out and gets Cynthia- she was a HUGE HUGE help during the big day! Such a nice lady, and she and Eric made sure everything was going according to plan. I won’t get into all the small details, but they exceeded expectations. Dancing took place back in the living room. People could still stay seated in the dining room if they chose, but could still see into the dancing area. We had the cake cutting in a separate room near the entrance. We liked it further away, because we had quite a few elderly people who may not want all the noise coming from the dance floor. There were couches everywhere for people to lounge and chat, and in the same room as the cake was coffee/cheese/fruit, which were all provided with the package. The cheese is legit as everything, super stinky and everyone LOVED it!! The venue is breathtaking, and together with Eric and the staff, made our wedding the best day ever- no complaints.

The Forest and Stream is a truly breathtaking venue. Eric was extremely attentive from the moment we met him. He was very quick to respond to any email we sent his way. When we went for our tasting, we got to meet the cook and he explained the whole process of the night and made ... View more sure everything was to our liking. On the day of Eric and Cynthia were exceptional! People always tell you that something will happen during a wedding that you can't control- maybe we were lucky, but I'd like to think it was the professionals at work, everything was perfect- we couldn't ask for a better venue. We would definitely recommend.
