Jmeshoots is run by Jamie who is a documentary family and wedding photographer, based in Burnaby, BC. She has more than eight years of experience in the field and offers his services in the Greater Vancouver Area, Squamish, Whistler, Islands and Interior. Jamie feels really honoured to get invited to a very personal event and the opportunity to crystallise precious wedding moments for her clients.

Services offered

The shooting style of Jamie's is photojournalism and she offers a variety of services in affordable wedding packages. She only shoots one event per day and will include a second photographer, if needed. Jamie is willing to work for additional hours and at multiple locations.

Slideshow, trash the dress, engagement shoot, etc., are offered. The images can be bought in the following forms:

The best option for your wedding

After seeing Jamies work on Instagram, my (now) husband and I knew that we had to have her shoot our wedding. She was incredible! From great suggestions for our engagement photos, to beautiful shots on the day of, to amazingly edited photos when we were done, Jamie was the best photographer we could have hoped for. I can't recommend her enough.

Authentic photographer with a big heart

When we first looked for a wedding photographer, we hoped to work with someone who cared about our big day as much as we did. We wanted someone who would not only capture the images from that day, but preserve the emotions and intimacy in an authentic way. Jamie's portfolio represented what we were looking for in style, warmth, and authenticity.

When we met her in person, we were instantly connected with her kind spirit and thoughtful personality. She went above and beyond for our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and she is a professional that we boast to all our friends and family. She is organized, timely, and truly enjoys documenting these big days full of little moments--and she does an amazing job capturing those moments beautifully.

Easy to work with

Jamie is friendly, professional and very easy to work with. When it came to our wedding, we didn't give her a lot to work with, but Jamie delivered and captured amazing pictures of our big day that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Great wedding experience

Jamie was awesome from beginning to end. Enthusiastic, flexible, quick to respond to emails, and more than able to handle our double wedding. I'm usually not comfortable with a camera pointed at me, but she was the exception. We'll definitely be using her services in the future.

Jamie is basically like FAMILY

Jamie has captured the most magical and special milestones in our life to date! We initially contacted her when searching for a wedding photographer in 2015. Since then she has captured our engagement, wedding, newborn, and 1st birthday/smash cake photos! Jamie is basically FAMILY at this point. We recommend her to friends & family with no hesitation. She is flexible, understanding, and extremely talented at catching life's perfect imperfections. She captures the perfect moment, that LOOK we all give one another, and the sweetest all natural/unplanned memories we strive to hold on to and can never recreate. I look forward to asking Jamie to photograph us again and again with each new family milestone.
