Alex O'Geil, "Your Ceremony by Alex", is an award-winning Wedding Celebrant & Officiant based in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Celebrant Alex plans unique, customized, and memorable ceremonies that do justice to each couple's love story.
She believes that ceremonies are personal and intimate, and designs each one ensuring the lovers' essence shines through.

Services Offered

Ceremony specialist Alex has performed a multitude of different wedding ceremonies and enjoys celebrating important milestone events.
She also performs vow renewals, anniversaries, and commitment ceremonies, and ensures each event is personalized to the couple's taste.
Alex also helps couples draft their personal vows, providing inspiration when needed most.
To relieve any undue stress, Celebrant Alex also has a network of vendors on her website that can assist with wedding planning.

Alex serves the Okanagan in BC and offers bilingual ceremonies as an Austrian native speaker (English & German).

It feels like we made a friend for life!

Alex took the time to get to know us beforehand with a thoughtful questionnaire as well as some lovely online face to face meetings. On the day of the wedding, her calm and friendly energy put our families at ease. The ceremony was just as we had hoped. Looking back, we can’t imagine our special day without Alex in it!

The Perfect Ceremony!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding officiant than Alex. From the very beginning, she outlined every step of the process, making it incredibly easy and stress-free. Her "couple's questionnaire" was thorough and thoughtful, helping her craft a ceremony that perfectly captured our love story. During the rehearsal, Alex was amazing, ensuring everyone knew their roles and felt comfortable. On the day of the ceremony, she was nothing short of fantastic, delivering a heartfelt and memorable experience. We had minimal revisions to her initial draft, and she was always open to any changes. Alex truly made our wedding day special!

Alex was superb!!!

We were thrilled to have Alex as our officiant. From the moment we met with Alex till the "I Do", Alex went above and beyond our expectations. During the planning process, Alex helped us capture our love story, how we met, and the love we share. She then incorporated this into the most beautiful ceremony script that was filled with love and laughter. At the rehearsal, Alex worked with our DJ to ensure the wedding party and immediate family the process of the ceremony. She also kept tissues on hand for those moments of happy tears. Our guests still compliment how beautiful and magical the ceremony was. We are forever grateful that Alex helped make our ceremony one that we will never forget.

Absolutely perfect ceremony

Alex was wonderful the whole way through our wedding planning and ceremony! We had so many comments from guests that it was the perfect length, personal to us as a couple, and the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. Thanks so much for helping us through an overseas wedding and having a stunning ceremony for us :)

Alex is THE officiant you want for your wedding!

We chose Alex to be our wedding officiant! I knew right away after our interview that she was beyond perfect for the role, and boy oh boy was she ever! She delivered the most beautiful ceremony, it moved everyone to tears, she left no stone unturned and worked with us every step of the way to deliver the most beautiful ceremony! It’s been 3 months since my wedding and all of the guests that attended are still talking about how amazing she is and how beautiful the ceremony was! I can’t thank her enough for being part of our day and making it as special as it was!
You should definitely choose her to be your officiant, she is beyond phenomenal!
