I'm Rev. Rebecca D’Silva, ordained through the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry, registered as a religious official by the Province of Ontario. I am honoured to officiate inclusive weddings🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧. The goal of my #ministry is to celebrate love & life with authenticity & purpose. I have a strong academic background in religious studies, world religions, ethics, and literature, so I have the ability to customize ceremonies to fit each couple's vision & preferences for their special day.

I began my spiritual journey being raised in the Catholic Church which led to a philosophical & spiritual curiosity. This combined with a love of literature resulted in a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Religious Studies from Laurentian University (Sudbury) & a Master of Arts in Religion & Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University (Waterloo). Still, I wanted to serve my community in a meaningful way which led me to the University of Ottawa where I earned a Bachelor of Education. I'm proud to be an Ontario Certified Teacher currently working with a local school board. I sought to become ordained in order to officiate my best friends' wedding & since then I've found my ministry to be a wonderful way to further serve humanity using my creativity, flair for public speaking, and sparkle in over 50 wedding ceremonies! I've also done baby blessings and vow renewals & used my teacher skills to create a vow-writing workbook to help couples express all of the big emotions that they carry in their hearts & souls.
