Clive officiated our wedding at Wakefield Estate. He built the ceremony perfectly to fit our preferences and us as a couple - even working in very last minute changes to accommodate. Clive was very responsive to our needs from the get-go. He was available for two Zoom meetings to discuss the ceremony where he asked us questions to get to know us. This was very helpful since we opted for no rehearsal as we only had one witness each and 50 guests. He arrived on time for the ceremony and spoke clearly and professionally.

He did try to personalize some parts of the ceremony however, he got the birthplace of my husband wrong, confused with where his dad lives. Further, I had emailed him a couple of weeks before the wedding to clarify that we were going to be announced with Mr. and Mrs. [Insert My Last Name] not my fiance's name, and would not be doing the who gives this woman away. He responded that he understood and would print the email, however on the day of he announced us as my Fiance's last name and did indeed ask who was giving me away. I'm not too flustered by this however apparently my husband's birth father was rather sad because he thought we had changed our mind as a surprise, and some of our guests were confused. We had multiple conversations with family about why we were choosing whos last name in advance to minimize hurt feelings, so this was not ideal. Lastly, there was a small hiccup regarding pricing as he emailed us his new price the night before the wedding, despite our contact being for the previous price. Again, this is a small thing but did cause us some worry as we had already taken the money out in cash earlier in the day.

Overall, Clive was energetic, and charismatic, and held the room. He spoke well and his speech was touching. He was on time and professional to work with! My now husband and I enjoyed talking to him and were happy with his services.
