Centre Amour et Mariage is based in Quebec City and has a team of 15 officiants dedicated to personalizing wedding ceremonies. The officiants are mandated by the governement of Quebec for civil marriages. The team is able to perform ceremonies in French, English, and Spanish. Rev. Dr. Louis Lafrance, director and officiant for the Centre Amour et Mariage of Quebec, has been officiating for 19 years and has received an impressive number of laudatory reviews over the years. He is also the assigned minister of the Ice Hotel and Chateau Frontenac hotel in Quebec City. Mr. Lafrance and his team won the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards for many consecutive years.

A complimentary initial meeting is provided to all couples. Special packages for weddings in the South are provided. The team performs the following types of weddings:

The team officiates weddings in Quebec and surrounding areas, including Quebec City and Charlevoix, and has ministers in some other regions of Quebec, including Montreal. Baptisms, dedications, and welcoming ceremonies for children are also performed by Centre Amour et Mariage officiants.

Rev. Dr Louis Lafrance was the best officiant we could have. He tailored and helped us create our dream ceremony and union. From the speeches to the poems, he was flexible, professional and understanding. We also made the ceremony half in English and half in French. His transitions were seamless. Wendy C. Married on 13/10/2016Rev. Dr. Louis Lafrance was a wonderful officiant for our elopement in Quebec City. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, he was extremely helpful and responsive to all questions and requests. We were able to tailor the ceremony to make it very personal - and what I thought was a small slightly odd request in wording was graciously accepted and added. We only met Louis a few moments before the ceremony, but he was very warm and welcoming and immediately put us at ease. If you are getting married in Quebec , I would very much recommend having Louis Lafrance as your officiant!
NOTE: I would share the service cost, but it was included in an elopement package prepared by Isabelle Radford, so I'm not sure what portion was for the officiant. -
