Evelyn was the most amazing officiant we could have ever asked for! She was super helpful and walked us through the whole process. Responds to any text/email promptly and gave us many amazing options for vows as we were not set on any specific ones. We had a beautiful wedding in the Dominican Republic on Nov 4 2024 officiated by Evelyn.
How it all began….we reached out to Evelyn to see if she was able to accommodate us and join us to officiate our beach wedding. She checked her calendar and got back to us very quickly to confirm she was available.
We then had lots of communication and we told her what our vision was. Evelyn listened and sent us scripts to read that followed what we told her we were looking for, she also made some really great suggestions. We picked our ceremony, readings and how we wanted our day to look on the beach.
Evelyn met us in the Dominican prior to the wedding and we reviewed the ceremony, the location and she made sure every detail was what we exactly wanted.
The day arrived and except for some rain the day went perfectly. Evelyn had everyone and everything arranged in the gazebo and the ceremony was beautiful and flawless. Despite the rain we even managed to do our first dance on the beach as we had wanted.
Needlessly to say I would highly recommend Evelyn to officiate your wedding, she is professional, accommodating and her attention to detail goes above and beyond. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does!!!

When my lover and I decided to mark our 20 years together with a special commitment ceremony, we knew it was going to be Evelyn who helped us make our dream come true.
We didn't want traditional and we didn't want any stress. In fact, we didn't know much about the process of getting legally married, we just knew that after two decades together (and a couple of kids who were pushing us to say I do), the time had never felt more right to make it official. And Evelyn made every step of the way easy on us.
From the very beginning, she was supportive, attentive and caring. Her level of enthusiasm and positivity to make the ceremony as perfect as possible matched mine. She was thorough and to the point and she carefully considered every single meaningful thing we wanted.
Having only five of us present in our ceremony, I can honestly say Evelyn added to the magic. Somehow, she managed to weave in all the special touches. But it was the handfasting with my late mother's scarf binding together my husband and I and our two sons that truly made our ceremony everything we wanted and more. Even though my mother couldn't be there physically, Evelyn honoured her and made it feel like she was still a part of our big day. That really meant something to me. That is Evelyn's magic. She simply cares. Deeply. And it's because she genuinely loves what she does.
We would choose Evelyn again and again and again. She does her job with a smile on her face and a lot of love in her heart.
We look back on that magical May 4th day in complete awe. We did it! Evelyn helped us create a moment in time that will be treasured until the end of time. And that is a very beautiful thing.
