We had Dwayne as our officiant and we were so blessed to be matched with him. He was amazing. I had been looking for someone easy going and fun. When we first met him he was laughing and smiling. I was sold before he said hello..haha. he was so helpful in planning our ceremony and really made it great. His kindness and wonderful energy makes him such a great fit for this career path. My only issue was I would have loved to have spent more time with him!

We were very disappointed with our officiant, Michael.
We paid for a package that included a rehearsal.
We were very anxious about including this rehearsal as we had young children as our flower girls and ring bearers.
We decided on a time and day months before our August wedding.
Two weeks before our wedding, our officiant said that he didn't know about the rehearsal date and needed to switch to a different day.
Our wedding is not in the city that we live in so we had to call our entire wedding party to reschedule the rehearsal on the officiant's behalf.
We rescheduled and after all that, our officiant did not show up to the rehearsal. When we called to ask what happened, he claimed he had it written down as a different date. (the original date that we had hoped for) This was so embarrassing for me to have had my whole family and future in laws drive to a different city a day before the wedding only to not have a rehearsal at all. The worst part was that our officiant didn't even apologize.
If that's not bad enough, our officiant had pretended to be very interested in the fact that were having a Chinese wedding and when we mentioned that we were having a tea ceremony, he willingly offered to hire a translator and to run this ceremony for us, as well. We gladly accepted and were happy at this opportunity. Unfortunately, our officiant was completely negligent in asking us what language we spoke as he had us meet with two Mandarin translators both times at which we politely mentioned that we speak Cantonese. Thankfully, at the wedding he did bring a Cantonese translator.
We were hoping to have our Chinese tea ceremony in the morning before the wedding ceremony as would be customary, however, we moved the tea ceremony to be directly after the wedding ceremony as to not inconvenience the officiant and the translator. Shockingly, 5 mins after our wedding ceremony, right before the Chinese tea ceremony that the officiant and translator had supposedly been working on, the officiant and translator just left without saying goodbye or anything about the Chinese ceremony. This resulted in another embarrassing moment where I had to ask my father in law to run the ceremony for us 5 mins before it was held. When asking the officiant about this after the fact, he said that they expected the Chinese tea ceremony to immediately precede the wedding ceremony (which it did give or take 5 mins for me to change into a new dress). Again, not the slightest sign of remorse or apology was given. This is what hurts the most since I can't imagine not apologizing when causing this much distress during someone's wedding. We called the owner of the company to complain at which point he was shocked to find out that there had been complaint with this officiant. I said countless times that all I wanted was an apology from the officiant. None was given and though the owner offered us a gift for bad service, he never followed up with it and so we are left with an even worse image of this company.
Dream Wedding Officiants's reply:
We at Dream Wedding Officiants always welcome feedback, towards our goal of providing all our couples a personal and professional ceremony.
Although it appears there were misunderstandings in this case, and although we disagree on several facets of Sheilas feedback, we always want to exceed our couples expectations, and sincerely wish Sheila felt she had received that.
In this case, we found our officiant Michael, who consistently collects excellent reviews from couples, fulfilled expectations by finding the couple an interpreter, composing and translating the wedding ceremony, as well as the tea ceremony. Although both translator and officiant were present to perform the tea ceremony as scheduled, after almost 2 hours waiting, and no indication of when this would occur, had to leave due to other obligations.
As Michael was unable to attend a rescheduled rehearsal (the date was changed a couple of times), we provided a phone walk thru with the couple and waived our rehearsal fee.
We wish Sheila the very best.

Ray did a wonderful job on our ceremony planning as well as oration on the day-of. We received many compliments on how well the ceremony flowed and his excellent speaking skills. Ray was very calm and natural, plus he was able to move with the events of the ceremony to make it a bit more fun. We really appreciated all of his help and suggestions.

Thank you so much Ray for being a part of our wedding. You made everything run so smoothly and were very patient with our enthusiastic wedding party.
We received lots of compliments on our ceremony on how it was short and sweet.
You gave us so many options for vows and through what we picked your kind words during the ceremony defiantly related to us.
Thank you again :)

Ray is such a professional to deal with. We met with him and knew that his sunny disposition and friendly nature will be great fit for us. He was calm and composed and made us feel at ease. Most importantly had a smile and was approachable. The ceremony was smooth, he helped us organize our entrances and had a lovely speech. We thank you Ray for helping to make our day a success and making us feel special.
