About

Dually Noted is a jazz duo/trio based in the Southern Ontario Golden Horseshoe, servicing the Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville area. They feature a number of top, experienced musicians - vocalists Katie Ross and Meagan Luchko, guitarists Nicholas Serbina, Thom Mason, and George Tirpko, and Jim Slominski on double bass. He is a sought-after and busy sideman in the Niagara, performing a wide variety of music and styles with many various musicians and for numerous events. He has been the leader and upright bass player for the jazz duo/trio "Dually Noted" for over five years, as well as performing in jazz vocal trios with some of the top vocalists from Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto.

Great music for ceremony and cocktail hour!

Jim was great to deal with, very professional and responsive! We had his Trio play during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and we are so very happy we did! We had compliments during and after the wedding on how great the music sounded. It was very easy listening and set a great tone for our outdoor location! Thank you so much for your services, your team is very talented and I would recommend them anytime!

Talented and very pleasant to work with!

Best decision! We had them during ceremony and cocktail hour. Jim made us feel welcoming even over all the emails we would send him. He gave us his opinion when necessary and that made things go smoother. He's extremely polite and pleasant to work with. I want to throw another party just so I can work with him again!!! I woukd recommend him every time!
