Living in Burlington, Ontario, Adam Mikitzel is a talented violinist who specializes in bringing elegant solo performances to weddings and other special events. Adam has been playing the violin his entire life, spending many years playing in youth orchestras and later with Symphony Hamilton and Orchestra Toronto. Experience

Adam has been playing violin almost all his life. As a child, he played in the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and won different awards in the Kiwanis Music Festival in the Open Soloist category. During University, he then joined the McMaster Chamber Orchestra and played first violin and later performed with Symphony Hamilton and Orchestra Toronto.

Excellent violinist for wedding

Adam was such a lovely touch for reception music for our wedding! He was very communicative and flexible. He was on time, and played beautifully. I would absolutely recommend!

Amazing violinist!! Highly recommended

Adam did an outstanding job performing at our ceremony! All of our guests complimented on the beautiful music he played! Adam was always responsive to emails and was very professional! We would 100% recommend him if your looking to make your wedding day extra special :)

For our reception

We hired Adam to play our reception and he was absolutely amazing. From the first point of communication right up until our big day, he was extremely profession and great to work with. Our guests were surprised and delighted that we had him playing and he did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!

Professional and talented

Adam was very personable and professional throughout the planning of my ceremony. He provided excellent pieces to play, which were absolutely beautiful. Adam played our wedding in July 2019. He showcased his undeniable skills and helped create an lifelong memory without prompting or instruction. Adam demonstrated professionalism and punctuality, arriving early to the venue, and his experience with weddings was clear from the moment we met him. He sat down with us, ahead of the big day, to determine our customized-accompaniment and offered a backtrack during the processional. Playing before, during, and after our ceremony, Adam's arrangements were a beautiful mix of classical and contemporary, ranging from Bach to Paganini, Adele to Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings). We heard nothing but positive reviews from our friends and family. We couldn't be happier with hiring Adam; we recommend him to anyone looking to add a special touch to their wedding day. Bridal Shower

Adam played the violin for the cocktail hour of my bridal shower and it was absolutely amazing. He was super professional and helpful and even started playing earlier because my guests arrived early. I asked him to play upbeat music and he totally exceed any expectations I thought I had. If you are looking at hiring a musician for your next event you cannot go wrong with Adam. He is incredible.

Professional, talented and memorable!

Huge thanks to Adam for playing during our ceremony and cocktail hour. His curated set list is already amazing, but when asked to play a few other songs from the Bridgerton soundtrack, he happily agreed and played them beautifully. He also practiced with the organist at our church prior to the ceremony, which was really appreciated. If you’re looking for a talented violinist, you can’t go wrong with Adam!

Beautiful music, very talented and very affordable

I contacted Adam a week prior to our wedding due to our previously arranged musicians falling through. He was extremely responsive and very organized. I had a song list to pick from within a day of contacting him - not to mention that he was extremely affordable and flexible. Adam showed up early to the venue to set up and was there to greet the guests with beautiful music as they arrived. Due to a couple of hiccups our ceremony was pushed back 45 minutes and he was more than accommodating by staying later than originally agreed upon and playing the most beautiful pieces. All the guests that got to listen to him perform couldn't say enough about his music. All in all, he went above and beyond our expectations and I will be recommending him to others without a doubt!
