I have worked with May many times over the years now and I had to have her for my wedding. My make up was perfectly done, lasted all day and she did my moms make up as well! Wouldn’t have wanted any one else for my wedding make up!!

May was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. She had done my bridesmaid makeup for a friend's wedding and was so lovely and did such an amazing job I had to book her for my own wedding. Her pricing is fantastic, she brings all of the equipment she needs making sure that everything is sanitary and clean. She came to do my trial for my bridal shower and did three hair looks and two makeup looks- I got so many compliments! For my wedding day it was an early start, May and her team arrived at my home for 4:00 a.m. ready to go. My hair and makeup for the day of was perfect, it enhanced my features for photos while looking beautifully, my hair stayed in place all night. Her photography profession definitely adds to how she does your makeup making sure it will look the best in photos . She then came to the hotel we were staying at to do a look change for my reception. Both looks we're different but equally as beautiful. I can't recommend May enough, thank you so much!

I don't have much experience with a full face of make-up nor had I figured out exactly what I wanted, but May did my make-up in a way where totally still looked like myself but glammed up. She did a fantastic job with all of my family members and my MIL. She was also flexible with my scheduling (holiday period and I was coming from out of town)
Highly recommend, and if I ever find myself needing a full face of glam in Toronto again, she would be who I would call!

May was such a great find. I decided I wanted my makeup done professionally, but I would do my own hair and my wedding party was going to do their own makeup (they prefer more minimal makeup). May had a good rate for this and was friendly and prompt. She was flexible with booking a trial and took time to make sure my look was what I was going for (a more dramatic look than the current bridal trend). I opted for a few changes after the trial and she reflected all that on the day of the wedding. She arrive spot on time, was easy to work with, made sure she and I both had what we needed, and even though she wasn’t doing my hair, when I worried about my very fine dark hair looking thin near the crown, sprayed in some colour to reduce the contrast between my hair and pale scalp. I tend to get a raccoon eyes easily so she did my makeup without mascara so there would be less chance of transfer. The makeup stayed put all night with only one touch up of my lips between ceremony and dinner, about six hours after application. (The selfie in fluorescent overhead light shows the look closeup at this point.) The little kit she gave me was fantastic and took all the makeup off at the end of the night so I didn’t need to pack my whole kit for the wedding night and woke with fresh, clean skin in the morning. I would hire her again for event makeup in an instant!

May did an absolutely amazing job! I hired for our trial hair and make-up, It was perfect! So the day of the wedding came, it was everything I wanted. I had my jr. bridesmaid wanting her hair and make-up done last minute and May didn't think twice about fitting her in, along with another friend of mine. May was so friendly! We had some good chats. I recommend May :)

I booked May and her team for wedding make-up services on a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad I did! From the beginning, May was very responsive and prompt with answering email. She was so flexible in meeting in our hotel location and on the day of the wedding, she arrived promptly and I had nothing at all to worry about! Her set-up and work ethic was very professional and created beautiful looks for all of my bridesmaids and that translated to beautiful looks in all of my wedding photographs! I’ve worked with May for years so when my wedding came along I knew I HAD to have her. She is arguably the best makeup artist in Toronto. She can literally do anything and she works with whatever you’re into. She’s so talented and she did two looks one for my wedding and one for my reception. One was soft gentle innocent and the other was dramatic full of flare and excitement to match the vibe and outfits for each event. Her work is honestly unbelievable and I strongly recommend you consider working with her!

I was a very indecisive bride and she was able to accommodate everything I asked for! I booked a trial and wedding day look back to back so it was a lot of getting to know each other in a short period of time. She worked with me every step of the way and was able to squeeze me in her busy schedule last minute. She was super sweet and adaptable the entire time willing to try different looks based on my personality. The end results were amazing and I couldn’t of asked for anything better :) Definitely would recommend for your next event!

I had May do my hair and makeup trial in December for $200. I didn't love my trial but it was good, for the most part. She was very easy going and friendly. Throughout the holidays I was busy and took a pause from wedding planning as my date was in September. When I decided to officially book her in early February she took forever to respond to my emails. She eventually told me she didn't have enough assistants to do my bridal party. I felt like I wasted time and money on my trial that I could've used on another artist that was actually available on my date.
