I hired Orly and her team of hair and makeup artists for my wedding and they were absolutely amazing!

Orly and her team ran ahead of schedule and ensured everyone looked their best before they departed. Everyone was super professional and all my bridesmaids were super happy with their services.
Everyone’s hair and makeup didn’t flinch the entire night and we all received so many compliments on both our hair and makeup.

For my bridal makeup, I explained to Orly that I wanted to look like myself but elevated for my wedding day and she nailed it.

I truly wish I had a better experience to share, but unfortunately, I was left very disappointed with my wedding day services.

Orly herself is a very sweet person, and I came prepared with a picture and clear explanation of the look I wanted. Sadly, the result was nothing like what I asked for. My acne scars were left uncovered, and the eye makeup was much darker and heavier than I requested. I had asked for a soft, daytime bridal look, but what I received felt more like a dramatic night look. When I tried to express my concerns, instead of adjusting, I was told that this was the look that would “suit me better” based on my dress. It felt like my preferences weren’t really heard, and because I was running out of time, I ended up applying makeup on top just to cover my scars. Unfortunately, that left me with a rushed, unfinished look — dramatic eyes I didn’t want and none of the soft bridal style I had asked for. This caused a lot of stress on an already emotional day, and sadly, it shows in my wedding photos.

My mother-in-law also had her makeup done by Orly and was not satisfied. She had to ask again for adjustments because what she was asking for wasn’t being done. It was frustrating to see her go through the same lack of responsiveness and end up disappointed.

As for hair, the stylist on Orly’s team was kind and did a nice job initially, but within two hours my curls completely fell flat. This was especially frustrating because my hair usually holds curls all day, even with a basic curling iron at home. Despite the professional products and setting, I had to keep fixing it myself throughout the day.

Overall, for the amount I paid, I feel I could have done a better job on my own and avoided a lot of stress. If you are considering this vendor, I strongly recommend scheduling a trial beforehand — I didn’t have that option since I don’t live in Toronto, but if I had, I would have chosen differently. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this service to other brides.

Orly was experienced and efficient. She was able to complete makeup for my 2 brides maids and myself on schedule and demonstrated understanding and flexibility.

Orly is professional and has a calming demeanour on an emotional charged day.
