Kerry’s fascination with makeup can be traced to her childhood days, when she spent time replicating looks from magazine on her sister and friends. Kerry graduated from the Freelance Diploma Program at the Blanche Macdonald Center in Vancouver in 2008. She began her journey by working in the retail beauty sector with makeup lines such as Benefit Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Stila Cosmetics, Smashbox Cosmetics, Dior, Lancome, Jane Iredale Mineral, and Bare Minerals. Not only amassing a wealth of knowledge from these jobs, she also had the privilege of working with some of the most talented makeup artists and photographers.
