Brenda was a total joy to work with on our wedding day. From our earliest conversations through to the day itself, the care she showed me and those around us was second to none. We started the day with a grounding yoga practice, which helped to calm pre-ceremony jitters and set the tone for the day. Her talent shone throughout our time together and she made me so beautiful - not only through her artistry but also through her words and energy. I deeply appreciated her calming presence, attention to detail and creative spirit. Our wedding would not have been the same without her!

I booked Brenda 3 months before my August 28th, 2021 wedding for a large contract of hair and makeup for myself and my 6 bridesmaids. The contract was signed by both parties and I paid the deposit. She then emailed me 3 weeks before my wedding day saying that she double booked herself and had to cancel my services. This was extremely stressful for me as I now had to find an alternative that I liked 3 weeks before one of the busiest wedding weekends of the year for a very large group. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend.

Brenda was fantastic. She is such a fun person, and I feel that I got to learn a lot about her through our two encounters. She really worked with what I wanted, and took my personality into account when designing my look. She knew when to give suggestions, and when to ask for my opinion. And the final product was amazing. Brenda really put her own life on the side to be there for my special day, and I am so grateful. Highly recommended!

Brenda squeezed me in for an intimate wedding in Pemberton late this summer. She was easy to get a hold of and lovely to chat with. She managed to make 5 very different women (old, young, fair, tanned, straight hair, curly girls, etc.) look absolutely stunning and 100% like themselves. AND IT LASTED!

3 weeks before my sister’s wedding, Brenda CANCELLED her makeup contract with her! No explanation besides she was “double booked.” Did not make any effort to help find another makeup artist for her own mistake, and provided no effort to make accommodations, despite having a written contract with the bride. So unacceptable.

I hired Brenda to do my bridal hair and makeup, as well as hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, my MIL and my mom. She made each and every single person look amazing! I love how her main goal was to keep me relaxed. She was like a protective barrier between me and the world. She could tell when I was becoming stressed and would immediately do her best to fix things.

She gave me the exact look I wanted: not too made up but still picture ready. She's very talented and quick but you don't feel rushed and the end result is beautiful. What a privilege it was to have had such a warm and friendly person to spend my morning with. I would highly recommend Brenda - she'll make you look and feel amazing!!

Brenda is an extraordinarily talented hair and makeup artist and an amazing person to be around. She nailed my hair and make-up on the first try despite my vague descriptions of what I wanted, and everyone else she worked on looked beautiful, natural and flawless.

Beyond her ability to make everyone look amazing, she is exactly the right person to have by your side at the beginning of the day. She is calm and reassuring, knows how to handle hectic bridal parties, awkward social dynamics, and stressful timing -- which I created because several members of my bridal party were adamantly opposed to getting hair or make up done but then changed their minds when they saw how amazing I looked after she finished with me. Brenda of course got everyone out time despite the last minute additions, though if I did it again I would just add everyone in when making the schedule, knowing they would want it.

I met Brenda for the trial and gave her a vague idea of what I was aiming for (“low bun”) and she nailed it on the first try. I didn’t give much more direction on the makeup but what she produced was absolutely perfect – I look naturally flawless and gorgeous, and she completely hid the fact I hadn’t slept the night before. I highly recommend Brenda and would hire her again every time.

Brenda was an amazing make up artist/ hair stylist. She came to my hotel the day before the wedding to do my hair trial and even fully styled it after so no one would see my wedding day look before the day of the wedding. I hired her for myself and my mom and also to do the hair for my bridesmaids. Then one of my guests hired her too since she was coming so highly recommended from my venue. She's been doing this forever so she's a total pro. In the end, she not only did an amazing job for what I hired her for, but she stuck around to see me get into the dress and ended up helping get it tied up and sitting right. I would definitely recommend her!
