Breath of Henna - ' Saira helps guide womxn to choreograph their emotions through Art'.

Saira Hussain is a Holistic Henna Practitioner, Artist, energy worker, art director award recipient & radical self-worth advocate. She is an annual donator and affiliate of Parkinson's Canada and Sunnybrook’s Alzeihmer’s division.

She is intuively motivated to lead with creativity, breath and restoring the value of Henna as an alternative modality to healing. Her vision.

Her ceremonial work as a Henna practitioner and Artist integrate energy work (chakra assessment), a self-worth intake form and her incredible artwork. She believes that we all have an individuality and every single one of us is deserving of our own reflection on the day of our celebrations, which she then paints with henna, subtle aromatherapy on the body (hands and feet).

Her henna is therapeutic, moving, and helps her clients re-ground can help them find balance in their lives as their face their life transitions head on.

Saira has adorned over over 25,00 womxn since 2014. In 2022 she was awarded the Womxn's achiever Award in Visual Arts by Dancing Damsels and members of Parliament in Ontario.

Amazing service, I really enjoyed working without Sarah! She was on time and always responded promptly. Her designs are to die for! She made sure I was very satisfied. Thank you Sarah for doing my henna on my wedding day!

Sarah was amazing. Her art is stunning and I received compliments from everywhere. She worked around my very difficult schedule and fit me in last minute. She is very talented and extremely flexible. Anyone who saw her work raved about how detailed her work was. The henna she used got darker each day, it was a pleasant surprise to wake up and see the fruit of her labor. I had decided to go through with this last minute and she was wonderful at trying to find a time that worked best for both of us. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking at getting any kind of henna done - bridal or otherwise.

Beautiful and personal bridal henna

Saira was an absolute delight to work with- she is incredibly talented, creative, and attentive to detail. It is clear that she loves her work and loves the brides she works with, and puts a huge amount of effort into capturing their love stories through henna. It was an absolute pleasure working with Sarah. She created a very personal and intimate henna design that represented my love so well. I appreciated all of her tips and tricks - those definitely helped keep me stain really dark for my wedding day. She's very patient and bubbly which really helped me stay calm!!

Sarah from Breath of Henna did my bridal white henna as well as my guest’s white henna. I am Polish so I was looking for non-traditional white henna, which is difficult to find in Toronto. She is such a pro and I was amazed at how quickly and beautifully she applied the design on my hands! She made sure to assure me that the white henna would not irritate the skin and it didn't. It stayed on for close to 48 hours - which is very impressive! The design was customized for me based on my wedding dress. Beyond the fact that Sarah is extremely talented, she is also the loveliest person – so kind and friendly! Everyone at my henna party commented on how amazing she was, and that this was definitely the highlight of the night, especially for some of the out-of-country guests who had never experienced such an event. My little flower girl refused to wash her hands because she wanted to keep the henna on as long as possible, so that she could show it off at school when she returned to Poland lol. I highly recommend Sarah for her skill, professionalism and contagious personality.

Sara is extremely professional. The bridal diary is truly an EXPERIENCE . not just henna on your hands. from the beginning of my henna journey to the end i was in awe at how seamlessly the entire journey was. The end result is of course breathtaking .
p.s - She gives you a massage during your bridal diary !!

Sarah was amazing to work with and I hope to work with her again soon! I emailed her to inquire about henna services for my wedding and she got back to me within 20min! Her price breakdown is clear and more importantly her artwork is phenomenal. What she created for me and for my bridesmaids was more than I could've imagined and every one of my guests commented on how awesome she was as a person. Sarah not only creates a memorable piece of art for you, she creates a memorable overall experience because she is so personable and passionate about what she does. I would 100% recommend booking with Breath of Henna for your next celebration, wedding, party etc. I will definitely be working with her again!

Sarah is amazing! She did a beautiful job on my Henna for my wedding last month. She is very professional, truly talented, and passionate about her work. She took the time to understand what I was looking for as a bride, and integrated my likes and dislikes into the design. Her work is detailed and intricate, and really reflects her creativity and originality as an artist. Beyond the quality of her work, Sarah is just the type of person you would want to be around on your special day, with her uplifting and positive energy, as well as the continued advice and tips on ensuring the Mehndi stained to my liking.

I was very happy with the results and I would highly recommend Breath of Henna to anyone!

Even in a world where everyone is on their phones, it's still hard to find people that reply quickly and are very efficient with there communication. Beyond the design and price and quality of work, Breath of Henna provided, I would say there is nothing better then having someone that is flexible and always responding to everything right away leaving no long voids in between. Hence the high rating I gave.

Would definitely recommend hiring her as I will be again actually very soon.
