I hired the Afua Artistry team to do make-up for my wedding, and I can't say enough nice things about them. Anita was so accommodating during the entire process. I had two make-up trials because I was so indecisive and she accommodated my needs without hesitation. Anita is an amazingly talented make-up artist, and I looked BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day. In fact, I don't think I've ever felt more beautiful! On top of her talent, she is such a genuinely considerate and sweet soul. She brought the vibes to the hotel by making sure we were all having a good time. There was a lot of mishaps (with hair and a sick bridesmaid) but she kept me cool and calm during it all. I was definitely an anxious bride and her reassurances throughout the morning were very much appreciated. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning thanks to Anita, Felicia and Saniha. Anita's team was unbelievable. They were reliable and punctual, they communicated quickly and effectively and most of all they made us feel our best. Anita's value for money was great. I shopped around a lot before settling on a stylist company for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with what we ended up getting. Our bridal suite was a vibe the entire time her team was there, we not only get dolled up, we had so much fun too. This made our experience 10x better. Afua Artistry was incredible. Their work is stunning and they take guidance well. What impressed me the most was client management - there were many moving parts to my day and the planning of these services. Anita stayed with me every step of the way, looking for a solution and easing my stress. They were very accommodating while knowing the value they bring and time they needed to set everyone up for success. On the day of, their energy was infectious and matched the hype of the room. Anita was amazing! Obsessed with how my makeup turned out (both in the trial and day of) is an understatement. From the time I met her I instantly loved the vibes! She talked me through every step she was doing. I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup but she still made everything look flawless without feeling like I was wearing any. On the day of my wedding my makeup lasted over 12 hours without any touch ups needed. It lasted through tears, laughter, nonstop smiles, and sweating…by the end of the night my makeup still looked flawless. I highly recommend Anita for any makeup needs 🩷

Anita and her service was everything I could have hoped for and more. Between the detailed bridal consult, trial, and the big day - she had me covered. She allowed me to relax while admittedly very overwhelmed, was able to support my bridesmaids who never wear makeup and made them feel beautiful, and did phenomenal work on the mothers of the bride and groom. Her warmth and genuine personality are everything a bride needs on her wedding day. I can’t forget to mention her luxury touch up kits that saved the day after many tears!!

I cannot say enough good things about Anita! When I was looking for a make-up artist I discovered Anita through a search on Instagram and found an absolute gem. Right from the start I knew I wanted to work with Anita because I could see the effort she put into her business, into making each of her clients experiences special and personal, and from a practical sense I really liked that her make up style focused on having balanced, beautiful skin. In my trial and on the day of my wedding Anita took the time to complete a skin care routine that made sense for my skin type, which also made the process feel really relaxing and luxurious. Her calm voice and gentle direction made you feel at ease, which is exactly what you need the morning of your wedding, but she also is very cognizant to read the space and knows how to elevate the energy in the room. We had fun singing together, laughing, and getting to know each other throughout the entire process. As a Bride she made me feel special, but she also made sure that each of the important women in my life getting ready with me looked and felt their best. Our make up lasted all day! From 6:00AM to 2:00AM which is incredible. A lot of vendors you may discover when planning a wedding don't actually have a lot of templates for you to work from and you end up researching more about their business, but I didn't have to do that with Anita. I was able to fill out a very professional survey from the start, she was patient as I had to wait on other answers from my Bridal Babes and other Vendors, and all in all the communication between us was timely and made the whole process smooth.

I knew from my trial meeting with Anita that she is a very giving person and is passionate about making her clients feel confident and beautiful. I will be recommending her to all my future Bride friends and can't wait for the opportunity to have my make up done with her again. 🤍
