Still Raving About The Paisley Rose—Almost 4 Years Later
Jen is not only incredibly talented, but also one of the kindest and most genuine people you could hope to work with. Her floral designs are breathtaking, and she went above and beyond to bring out (very vague!) vision of burnt orange and green to life. My husband and I aren’t the most creative people, but Jen understood exactly what we were going for and made it even better than we could have imagined. I still get compliments on my bouquet and florals.
Planning a wedding during COVID wasn’t easy, but having Jen in our corner made it so much less stressful. She was always responsive, flexible, and thoughtful—offering suggestions like how to add more floral to the venue when we had to reduce our guest count due to restrictions.
And a moment my husband still remembers—Jen stepped in to help the groomsmen with their boutonnieres when they were struggling. It’s those small but meaningful gestures that really set her apart.

Meet the team
It took several years and some clear signs from the universe for me to pursue my love of floral design and take the plunge into full-time small business ownership. In 2015, while on maternity leave with my first born I had a bit more time to "play with flowers". To ignite a passion repressed for years I made weekly trips to a local greenhouse to buy cut flowers, I watched endless tutorials on YouTube, and I filled my small condo's 20 square foot balcony with a raised flower bed and potted plants.
That year on a whim I agreed to design flowers for a friend's wedding…and it was MAGICAL! Empowered by the success and the support of my family and friends, I took the leap to register the business, enrol in formal accredited training and start my floral design journey!
In 2020 the "Pandemic Pivot" and its supply-chain issues brought my eyes back to my love of flower growing, so I ripped up my lawn and started a backyard micro-flower farm. It's taking some serious effort, and money, but every season my plot gets bigger and nurtures more varieties for my designs from seed (or bulb, tuber, rhizome) to harvest.
Now entering into my tenth year of business, with countless arrangements, weddings, workshops and farmers market appearances as my foundation, The Paisley Rose is my full time passion. With endless dreams for the future, I can't wait to share my love of flowers with you!
