Connie was amazing! On our consultation meeting, I could tell that she is passionate about her work. She was thorough and detailed, and was considerate of the budget that I had provided. I sent her an inspo picture of a flower arrangement I loved, and on the day of, they turned out even better than expected! Punctuality is definitely important on the wedding day and bridal bouquets were delivered at the hotel and flowers to the venue on time. Her instructions for care were also clear. I am so happy I decided to book with Sweet Elegance.

Connie is a true professional. She definitely made my Pinterest board come to life! She designed a beautiful arch piece that transitioned easily to a centrepiece for the sweetheart table. The centrepieces and bouquets were also beautiful and we got so many compliments. They also took the photos to the next level. Thank you so much!

Honestly you blew my expectations out of the water. We were so so happy with everything you put together! You were so personable and worked so well with us! You made my dreams a reality. A lot of my followers were dried so we were able to hang them up around our home. So happy I still get to look at them everyday.

Where do I begin with this wonderful woman ! A dream only becomes a reality when someone does the work to create it! Connie went above and beyond anything I could of asked for from her. She not only far surpassed my expectations as a wedding vendor, but she also became a friend that I will surely cherish for a long time to come. Forever grateful to this beautiful and kind woman! Admittedly, I didn't do much due diligence in terms of looking at reviews or anything of the like, I picked Connie because she was local to the area and I liked the bouquets on her website when I quickly glanced at them.

The only thing I did in advance was sit down with another florist from my hometown (as I wasn't local to Kelowna, Vernon, or Lake Country) to take suggestions on what to ask a florist when you meet them. This step I highly recommend with anyone if you have the chance. I then sat down on Pinterest based on this meeting and pinned as many bouquets as my attention span and nerves could tolerate. I was told that eventually a pattern would emerge that would be beneficial to my potential florist to see. I owe a lot to this local florist.

I count myself extremely fortunate to have met Connie. She was very attentive to my questions. She also offered great suggestions on how to improve an idea I had or what would be the best approach going forward as I basically no nothing about flowers. Connie also offered a nice congratulatory gift that I have since used several times. She's very thoughtful. She was also very good to my husband who did not share the same interest in flowers as I had.

Additionally, Connie put together a really lovely and well thought out mood board, based on our conversations and some photos I had ready to go for her. This also enhanced my experience significantly. I then took the mood board to my other vendors (e.g. my hair stylist, my make up artist, rental company) so they could see what I was putting together and help tie pieces of the wedding celebration together as I'm not a creative gal. My other vendors also appreciated this step. Nothing is harder when you can't articulate your idea and nothing is easier when you can say, "can you do something that will match this idea?"

I was warned that just because you see a picture of a floral bouquet, does not necessarily mean you will get that floral bouquet. This advice was from my hometown florist. However, Connie's work on my favourite picture that I gave her was the closest thing I had envisioned for my big day.

I worked with probably a dozen or so vendors for the big day, and she executed it perfectly. I got way more than expected and I was really grateful for her dedication, time, and effort. Connie was also great in putting together a last minute addition for a recent floral girl addition, something I also highly appreciated as I was struggling to get everything in order.

In summary, I highly recommend this florist and think the residents of Lake Country are very fortunate to have her as part of their business community. Thanks again Connie :)

Sweet Elegance Floral Design was easy to work with, responsive, and moderately priced. The owner/operator is very knowledgeable and friendly, and professional. While I had an overall positive experience, my flowers were not reflective of what I requested, and were in generally poor condition when I received them.

My husband and I just got married at Summerhill this past weekend and having Connie at Sweet Elegance do our florals was the best decision I have ever made. Connie exceed my expectations with all my florals, from the arch to me and my bridesmaids bouquets to the table arrangements. Throughout the day, I had a ton of compliments from my guests and even the servers at Summerhill. Connie is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to flowers and provided recommendations to help keep costs within our budget or provided suggestions on how to achieve my inspo without overdoing it. Connie, you did an amazing job and I cannot wait to see our wedding pictures with all the florals :)

We just had our wedding in July, and Connie went above and beyond my expectations for our wedding flowers. I was in awe when I saw the design she came up with. The arrangements were so elegant, on theme and carefully thought out. She is a true professional and will make your wedding a dream come true with any budget. She is amazing to work with and will do everything to make sure that your vision comes to life. Also, the flowers lasted for days after the wedding was done! Sweet Elegance provided all of the floral arrangements for our wedding at 50th Parallel Winery in Lake Country, BC. The supply of product was terrific and we certainly appreciate their patience as we had to workout details to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19 restrictions and overall uncertainty on numbers. The flowers were wonderful but we found Sweet Elegance difficult to communicate with at times whereas our other vendors were understanding of the challenges associated with rescheduling and happy to work with us pending their own availability, working with SE felt like a chore or as if they were doing us a favor a little bit. There was a miscommunication at one point where the contract and emails weren't coming through and she threatened to drop our date. After we started communicating via text, it became much more efficient. Again, the arrangements were terrific and beautiful! We were very happy on the day.
