Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Oak and Willow Florist is a wedding florist led by principal designer and owner, Tracy Liu. Her entrepreneurial upbringing introduced her to the agriculture and floral industry at a young age. Seeing the passion and integrity within her family inspired Tracy to start Oak and Willow, turning her hobby of arranging small bouquets into a business which offers full-service florals for large, special and intimate events. HOW WE DO SUSTAINABILITY

While trying to retrieve most products locally, we all know that being in the floral business can be a bit tough in our environment.

• We do our part by separating paper and plastics when we receive all blooms from our sources
• We work out of a four-acre floral nursery farm in Burnaby. All of our floral scraps are brought to the compost, where the nursery flowers can thrive!
• The best part? A second life for our florals. After tearing down an event, the florals are brought back to the nursery, and we give away as much as we can to nursery clients before they head to the compost
