Originally I wanted to be a DIY bride for literally everything, I thought my vision was clear and I knew exactly what I wanted. Turns out its a LOT harder than I thought, and I'm a crafty gal. After MANY failed attempts at bouquets, wasted flowers, tears and frustration on the night before my wedding, my mom took charge and called Emily without me knowing. Back then, Emily was a flower farmer who offered market bouquets and was not a wedding florist (yet). We knew each other through vendor markets, both being small business owners in a small town and we were close but were still in the early months of true friendship. She dropped everything that night and literally came to rescue me. I really mean rescue me, I was found sitting alone, crying on the front porch of my parents house, covered in sap, sweat and mascara. After a warm smile and a big hug, she had my bridal party and I help build bouquets in no time. I really needed her expertise on getting my vision more concise as my colour pallet didn't flow with the theme as well as I thought and all the flowers I chose didn't look the greatest matched up when they were altogether, it was too busy and not bridal. But she excluded of a few things that were eye sores and made everything look so beautiful, you'd never know that it was a legit disaster less than 24 hours before. She was a wedding guest the next day to begin with, but came early to help with set up of the flower arrangements on the tables and aisle. I am so grateful for Emily, then and now. Emily is excellent at helping you perfect your vision, make adjustments based on budget and works with you as the bride. I've gotten to watch her blossom into her art of doing weddings and it's truly remarkable what she can create. Don't make the mistake I did, hire a florist and if I have any influence, hire Emily. You're welcome, in advance.

Working with Emily was one of the easiest parts of planning my wedding! Her floral arrangements are beautiful. I was most looking forward to the flowers out of all the decorations and Emily did not disappoint! It was better then I could have ever imagined!

We had the most amazing experience with Emily and are so grateful that we chose Mapleton Acres for our florals for our wedding. We decided to give Emily free range for designing all of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. All of the florals exceeded our expectations! They were all so stunning. I've added a few photos we took during the day, but they aren't as good as what the photographers likely captured. Also, when my bouquet was dropped off at the bouquet preservation person the day after the wedding, they said it was the best quality of flowers they've ever seen. I can't recommend Mapleton Acres enough!
