If this is what I have to look forward to with other shops Im not shopping anymore
Dont even know how to explain it other than I get better service shopping at Walmart. I was excited for weeks to go here and chose Heirlooms as my first Boutique to look for dresses because I go by it every day. What a horrible mistake!! I sent pictures of dresses I wanted to try before even going in. Told they had them all but 2. Get there they ask again style I want. I tell them & show pictures and tell them it will be a beach wedding. Consultant goes and pulls ONE dress out of all the ones I showed her, said its too small for you and only size we carry youll have to shop over there in plus sizes..im only a 12/14 in reg sizes!!!! Told me nothing else in store would fit me and they wouldnt even look. Sent me to look at 12 dresses "all we have in your size" the dresses were sz 20, 24, 18 I could try these over my clothes and all wouldstill be huge on me . And NOTHING like what I showed her or for a beach wedding. I had to try and find dresses on my own, try them on on my own, struggle out of them on my own because they were way too big or way too smalland way too much material. And STILL the consultant isnt offering any assistance. After 15 min I was frustrated pissed off that I wasted my time going there and left. OMLY THEN does the consultant pltry to put any effort into assisting me while I brush her off and walk out. Ive never had such horrible service and I told them my budget was $5000!!! You think theyd want me to find a dress!!! Even the girl beside me had her mother helping her in and out of dresses while the consultant watched them. Im telling everyone about my horrible experience and to NOT waste their time shopping for a dress here. Even vking to make sure other shops know of the horrible experience I had!!! Im sure ANY other wedding dress shop is better than here.Sent on 04/09/2020

Very average experience and service
I went to four different shops while searching for my dress and my experience at Heirlooms was the only one that I did not enjoy. They are very responsive to emails and booking an appointment was easy but the quality of service seemed to stop there. My consultant did not introduce herself or ask who my guest was. She asked if there was a style that I was searching for or "one to beat" and after showing her, she did nothing with this information. Instead, I was left to go through the racks on my own. The consultant had difficulty pulling styles that matched my vision after trying on the first few gowns. My consultant was nice but she did not go over the top to make my bridal experience memorable. It's important to note that Heirlooms was also the only shop to have a limit on the number of dresses that I tried on (only 8 dresses per appointment) which made the experience quite difficult. I understand that this is a precaution to ensure that the shop remains sanitary during the pandemic, but I felt incredibly limited - other shops I visited wouldn't stop until I was happy and found what I was looking for. Although most of their dresses are under $2500, I found most to be quite itchy or underwhelming for the price - not the quality that I was expecting.Sent on 25/07/2020

Dream Wedding Dress
Heirlooms Bridal is an amazing bridal store! I visited several bridal shops prior to visiting Heirlooms and their selection far exceeded anything else. After trying on many gorgeous gowns in their store I found my dream dress! The staff at Heirlooms was so knowledgable and helpful and made me feel comfortable and excited. In addition to helping me find my dream wedding dress and veil they also had the perfect dress for my mom. She looked so stunning and I have never seen a dress that looks similar to hers. Heirlooms is the best place to go for gorgeous wedding dresses, accessories MOB dresses, Bridesmaid dresses and so much more! AND they also had Canadian made wedding dresses which is amazing! I am extremely disappointed with Heirlooms and their service. I am the maid of honour for my sisters wedding and came to heirlooms for my dress. Upon ordering they ordered me the wrong dress and didn't realize. Luckily i ordered months in advance and they put a rush on ordering me a new one and shipping it to me. When the second dress came in it was the right dress WRONG SIZE. IT IS AT LEAST 2 SIZES TO SMALL, it is to small in my ribs so loosing or gaining weight wouldn't change it. It is 19 days till my sisters wedding and I had contacted a local seamstress to fix THEIR MISTAKE. As well as upon calling they will not reimburse me for any alterations and want me to drive over an hour to their store to get the alterations done there, thats the only way they'll pay. 19 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. Absolutely inexcusable, I dont know how they're trying to run a successful business and mess up not once but twice and then try to blame it on me? BE WARNED, to say the least.Sent on 10/06/2019

The prettiest bridal store
Heirlooms is such an amazing place to go wedding dress shopping. I got my dress in their original location it was so pretty and had an antique vibe to it. I had been too a few stores before going and everyone felt so pushy for me to pick a dress but at heirlooms they were really easy going and really wanted you to enjoy your time. I found my dress so quickly I knew the minute I saw it, they have so many different dresses and styles to choose from! I got my alterations done in the new store and it is just as beautiful as the first if not more. The seamstress was so amazing and kind, seriously made my wedding dress experience amazing!!Sent on 28/08/2019

Not Sure How They Are Still in Business!

When you order your dress you have the option to pay for half of your dress or pay for the whole dress up front. I had no issue with paying for the dress up front but the lady processing the order responded to me by saying “You don’t want to do that. You never know, financial situations might change.” I found this to be very rude, judgemental, and unprofessional.
Once my dress arrived it did not fit. It was far too tight. It was able to do up but I could barely move in it and it was clearly at least a size too small. I had not gained a single pound since they had measured me so it was clear they made a mistake in what size they ordered for me. Rather than being apologetic or owning up to their mistake they opted to take my measurements again so that they could blame me. When they realized my measurements hadn’t changed they didn’t do anything or take responsibility for their mistake.
When it came time for my first fitting the seamstress “figured” that if she let out the dress the tiniest bit by removing my pockets it would fix the issue. Anyone could clearly see that the dress needed to be let out much more than that. This day they also re-took my measurements and were continuously confused as to why the dress doesn’t fit since my measures did not change. One of the staff members showed me their sizing sheet and since I measured smaller on top but was in between on my hips they decided to order smaller. If they had just spoken to me I would have asked them to order bigger. Yet again they did not take responsibility for their mistake.
When it came time to make the appointment for my second fitting, myself and the bride stood there as the staff member wrote down my appointment in the book.
The other bridesmaids had their fitting a few days later and then wanted to book their next appointment for the same day as mine. They didn’t even have my fitting appointment in their book.
I had to call and re-book it and wouldn’t have even known if the other bridesmaids didn’t let me know. I have no idea how they no longer had my appointment in the book as I saw them write it down.
So after having to make an extra trip, all the way from London no less, the dress was still too tight after the pocket removal so this is when it occurred to them that they needed to add an extra panel into the lining.
So finally after they added the extra panel the dress fit. A couple of the staff asked why they did that and I explained to them that it was because they ordered the wrong size and the staff members didn’t believe me.
Finally, they did their pinning and measuring to take up the length and take in the busy the tiniest bit. The dress was slated to be ready the Wednesday before the wedding.
As I was coming from out of town, I called the store to ask if I could come a little bit earlier than my scheduled appointment, especially since it was supposed to be a quick final fitting. I could barely even get a sentence out because the woman who answered the phone kept cutting me off.
Anyways, they allowed me to come early for my final fitting. I put the dress on and it was still at least 2 inches too long - even though it was supposed to be ready and they had already measured for length. I asked the seamstress why it was so long and she responded with “I don’t know.” That was it - yet again no apology or acceptance of responsibility.
I had to go and pick up my dress the day before the wedding and was charged an extra fee for the fabric they needed to use for the extra panel of the lining.
I am completely disappointed in their customer service and in their tailoring staff, who clearly do not know how to correctly measure, size, order, and alter a dress.
Like I said, to top it all off the staff were rude, arrogant and non-apologetic.
If this is how they treat their clients I have no idea how they are still in business.

We bought our bridesmaid dresses from Heirloom bridal. We decided to go with 3 different colours and they were so helpful with style and designer suggestions. They were also great to deal with as my girls were from all over the country and they helped make their measuring, purchasing and pick up of the dresses very easy. They also did a wonderful and timely job at alterations. Such a cute little shop with so much selection!Sent on 10/01/2018
