DJ Hugo DJed our wedding in September and we are so happy we went with him! We wanted a mix of reggaeton, afrobeats, and West Indian music and he really delivered. He was professional throughout the whole process, responded to messages quickly, and catered to all our requests. We had an inital meeting to discuss the plan and a final meeting two weeks before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we started to run behind schedule before the reception even began, which was making us anxious. But Hugh checked in with us several times throughout the evening to let us know what was happening next with the updated timeline. His calm and reassuring demeanour was a memorable part of the night for sure. The price he charged us was also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

DJ HuGo was so easy to work with and really took away all of the stress for that element of our wedding. He can operate professionally with as much or as little communication as you think is necessary. With just a few brief notes about the structure of our event and a brief conversation during his initial setup before the ceremony, he made every transition seamless and moved the entire evening along perfectly.

We were crazy and curated our entire playlist which is extremely boring for any DJ, but he took our vision and executed it perfectly without any ego, adding his own creative flair toward the end of the night when everyone was feeling loose from the drinks.

If you're music control freaks like us, or just want someone who can read the room and get it done without you having to think about it, he's your guy.

Hugh had one directive and it was the curate the best dance and musical experience for our wedding. And he absolutely did. He hit every note. Every entrance. All the songs hit. All the moments were punctuated perfect. I can’t recommend him enough. He’s your man for a superb experience.

He even worked well with our family and wedding coordinator to help organize a surprise performance for us. He brought his own additional equipment to help us out.

DJ HUGO was amazing at our wedding !! We are still recovering from a long night of dancing and partying with our family and friends and Hugh did an AMAZING job keeping the dance floor full and happy! One important aspect was having Spanish dance music and DJ HUGO completely delivered !! He had a great mix available and it made the whole night amazing. His strobe and light effects were especially cool and changed the vibe of the dance floor completely to help shift from dinner time to party time !! Thank you so much Hugh!!

I’m so happy with how DJ Hugo was able to coordinate timing with the planners and play the music that I wanted. Our wedding had a lot going on during the reception, but everyone had a great time dancing! He was very accommodating because I had so many requests such as Cambodian music, specific timings of songs, and ensuring that people don’t make request or karaoke. He’s so easy to communicate with and I highly recommend!
