James did a fantastic job at our wedding. He is worth every penny and we're so glad we chose him. His music repertoire is unbelievable, playing all of our requested styles including, folk, electronic and French tunes and blending it all seamlessly into a fantastic evening.
James set up audio in three different areas across our 1.5 acres, all of which was linked in together so that he could control everything and make sure all was working well for each stage of the wedding, including the ceremony, dinner and speeches. He provided support during the wedding ceremony and speeches, and had a backup macbook on hand and a bunch of extra adaptors which saved our lives when we were short on gear for the slide-show.
The party went off so well that we asked him to stay late and he kept our partiers dancing almost until dawn.
James set the stage for what everyone said was the best wedding they've ever attended.

We cannot recommend DJ James Falk enough! From our very first conversation, James impressed us with his professionalism, creativity, and dedication to making our day perfect. He collaborated with us at every step of the way, taking the time to understand not only our musical tastes but also the overall vibe we wanted for each part of the celebration.
Our music preferences were pretty wide-ranging, and James somehow managed to honour all of them while keeping the dance floor packed the entire night. We honestly didn’t know how our tastes for electronic dance music ( drum and bass & house) would mix with more traditional wedding party music. His ability to read the room and transition between genres seamlessly was incredible—we had guests of all ages dancing until the very end!
What truly set James apart, were the thoughtful touches. He visited our venue in advance on his own time to create a custom lighting plan, which completely transformed the space and added to the atmosphere. He also went above and beyond by providing acoustic hookups for both a string quartet and a few family members who performed during the ceremony and speeches. Everything was handled flawlessly.
James was more than just a DJ—he was a true partner in our celebration. We’re so grateful for his talent and dedication, and would recommend him to any couple looking for someone who truly cares about making their wedding unforgettable

DJ James Falk is the best DJ from start to finish. He is very professional, I appreciated how seriously he takes his role, as music for a wedding is very important! My husband and I met with him several times leading up to our wedding, and he was always on top of things. I am amazed with the years of experience that he has in the industry. He knows so many niche artists and songs, he can play to any crowd. He is fantastic at reading the room and he mixes music so effortlessly that the party keeps going all night long. We had so many guests tell us it was the best dance party they have ever had at a wedding.

Great experience for our wedding! On time at 2 separate locations, setup was perfect, and dealt with some delays on our end without any issues. Great experience and would definitely recommend! All of our requests songs were correct and available.

We had the absolute privilege of having James Dj our wedding social, from the very beginning stages of reaching out to him he was very friendly, responsive and informative! He went above and beyond to ensure our event went exactly as we wished! Showed up early for setup, tested everything, then came back for the main event, dressed professionally ! Let me tell you, James had the dance floor PACKED all night long, literally until the lights came on at the end of the night! The sound was amazing, not muffled or echoey, he knew exactly which equipment he needed for that specific room to make it sound perfect! He had also done something I’ve personally never seen at a social before, he projected music videos for all the songs he played throughout the night! We had so many compliments from our guests on this and his service as a whole.

We have James booked for our wedding June 22nd and could not be more thrilled to have him DJ for us again!

We hired James for our Halloween-themed wedding social last October (2023). We would never even consider going with another DJ after hiring James. We’ve been to enough socials and bars to know the typical bare-minimum, lacklustre effort a lot of DJs put in to events. The DJ brings life to the party, so you need them to be EXCELLENT, and James is just that. Not only does he know exactly what music to play and how to tailor it to your theme or desire, he creates a whole atmosphere with lights, TVs, and even smoke machines — all of which he provides and sets up and takes down himself. He is a very experienced emcee and knows what should be announced and when to announce it. You don’t have to do or worry about anything, James does it all, and he takes his contribution to the success of your event seriously and personally. Plus he is just a great and amicable guy to work with. Needless to say we’ve hired him for our wedding as well. Thanks Falk!!
