Overall a Huge Win!
We loved working with Melanie at Peter and Paul's, as well as Klaus and several others throughout the process.
Although it was all daunting at first, Melanie really helped get us through with her kindness and flexibility. We got everything we could have possibly considered!
The only thing I wish I had more of was communication, as there were long periods between sending emails and receiving answers, but once we did get in touch from time to time all worries were quelled.
The food especially was FANTASTIC and all our guests made sure to let us know!

Amazing Food!
The food at our Kortright wedding was fantastic! Huge portions, a ton of choices to pick from, and amazing quality - guests were raving all night! We even got 2 meats per person, and a good vegan/vegetarian option. And the bartenders were very generous with their pours :).

Amazing food
We had tons of people tell us how amazing the food was here at Universal. But we never tried it ourself! Because of covid and In such a rush towards our wedding date we didn’t even get a chance to do a tasting.
Well we didn’t have to because that was honestly the best food I’ve ever eaten at a venue. We had 2 pasta dishes just a red sauce and a pasta with rapini and sausage, a veal chop on the bone with broccolini and other veggies and a Tartufo ( which we were sad we didn’t get to taste) I guess because we weren’t at our seats we didn’t get one placed there. But everyone was raving how amazing it was!! We also did the Antipasto Buffet which was also amazing!! The late night station we did the wood oven pizzas and those were to die for.
Over all I’d give the food a 10/10 and that’s coming from an Italian who is really picky with food!

Hell, please do not book!!
Do NOT book your wedding with any Peter and Paul’s event Centre. We had booked our wedding before covid 19 and had given them one deposit. As the time went on and the pandemic really picked up, they had demanded us give them the remainder of our deposits assuring us everything would be fine, if we didn’t give our deposit we would lose our wedding date. What do you do?
We lost $8,500 because they are a greedy, sneaky business. If you ask me, Diana is the worst. We have found another venue, amazing and beautiful, elegant and assuring. Please, do your research.

Food was very yummy
Compliments to the chef! Peter and Paul’s did a fantastic job! Our guests loved the food and we were happy that the menu detailer was consulted for all allergies and dietary restrictions.
