Scam artist!!! I wish I could choose a zero rating. Alexander Schwaiger called me in last minute to be a server to help him cater a wedding on August 5, 2023 as he told me a server of his bailed last minute. He told me he would pay me $50 an hour. I had never worked for him before but I was acquaintances of him. I decided to help him out as he seemed to be in a bind and I worked my butt off because there was only one other server to work an entire wedding! He said he would e-transfer me the money right after the wedding. The money never came. I asked and asked for my money with him saying he would pay me when he gets paid from the wedding, however, this was already a week and a half after the wedding. Then he told me he was not going to pay me. I got mad at him for saying he was not paying me and it was then he uttered the threat that he was going to burn my house down with my dog in it. At this point, I contacted the police because honestly, I really don't know what this guy is capable of.
If you read through all the reviews, you can see there is a pattern with this guy. Alex makes his living from scamming people and then he ghosts. Not only does he constantly steal from his customers, but also his employees as well. This guy is a criminal, not a chef, and I'm surprised he is not in jail yet.
All the good reviews are from people who haven't figured him out yet and a lot of them are fake good reviews that he had his friends write to make him look good. I know this because he asked me to write a good review a few years back when I had never hired him for any catering. -

Our food was simply amazing and our guests are still ravin about it.
Alexander ensured our menu was exactly what we ordered.
He came with all linens, cutlery, and glasses.
Him and his team hit the flavors out of the park.
He is a very kind and perfessional chef.
Our taste testing meeting was simply amazing and he also made food outside our menu to ensure we got to taste all his cooking abilities.
He ensured their was enough food for seconds and thirds, if our guests wanted.
His chicken dishes are to die for.
Our guest talked about the Tuscan lasagna for days after our event.
I highly recommend him and his team to feed your army of family and friends, your taste buds will thank you.
Great job Elite Catering, and thank you for your hard work at our wedding.

Despite covid difficulties Elite catering made our day perfect! Adjusting our meal options multiple times and coming up with alternatives to accomodate ever changing guest list numbers and restrictions. Cocktail hour was amazing. Almost all guests went up for seconds for our buffet dinner. And their taco bar was a huge hit Our head table was treated extraordinarily! Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the service and the food!! Thank you so much! Will definitely book Elite Catering again for any future events big or small. -

On days where your wedding is suppose to be filled happiness and fun times. Elite sure made the event very stressful! Horrible time management, horrible communication.
He charges everything before the event in case he decides to skip on it. That way he doesn't have to pay you back.
This guy is a complete crook! Extremely disappointed with everything "elite" did...
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
