Big Bird BBQ is the realization of a lifelong dream to cook and serve the community on my own terms.
In 2020, I brought the concept for a Smoked Meat and Vegan Food Mobile Caterer to my friend Sohil (Sam) Patel. Sam and his wife Nikki were in immediately, and after a number of pandemic delays, we opened Big Bird BBQ in August of 2021 here in Hinton, Alberta.
Husband and wife team Josh and Amanda Yaworski run the truck, with friends and family often working alongside to help us meet the demands of our catering and event operations.
