We recently hosted our Indian wedding at RAGC and it exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism and care. The venue itself is beautiful — clean, spacious, and classy — with photo spots throughout the grounds (inside and out), especially during sunset.
Our ceremony was at the Cedar Gardens, which was a special and beautiful location, with the stone arch, chapel, and foliage around, especially in the middle of autumn.
The main highlight for us was the Indian food. The flavours were truly authentic — the Nihari beef, Achari chicken, and Goat Biryani were all tender, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The Shahi Paneer was creamy and smooth. Many of our Indian guests commented that it was some of the best Indian food they’ve EVER had. Additionally, many of our non-Indian guests enjoyed the food, mentioning that it was flavourful and not too spicy (a request we made, which was honoured).
What made our experience seamless was our venue contact, Sowmya. She was an absolute pleasure to work with — kind, organized, and responsive. She answered emails clearly and quickly, always making sure that we had the information we needed right away. On our wedding day, she took special care of us (as the couple), personally checking in to make sure we ate and had beverages on hand. It truly meant a lot to us and made our day all the more special.
Sowmya also coordinated her staff well, so that food service (Cocktail hour, dinner service, desserts) ran smoothly, and all the food was hot and ready right on time. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our experience made all the difference to us.
We also had the opportunity to have food from the Farm & Founder restaurant for our rehearsal dinner, and that was great as well.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help bring our special day to life. We highly recommend RAGC to anyone looking to get married. We will definitely be back at RAGC for future events or to enjoy food at F&F.

This venue was so beautiful. Love that it was all in one from the ceremony to cocktail to reception! Our coordinators were amazing and catered to all our needs, always putting us first! We are overjoyed with his everything turned out! -

The Royal Ashburn was a dream come true. I worked with 4 different coordinators (through no fault of the staff, just some circumstances out of their control) and it was absolutely no problem. The coordinators were always fully up to speed on my wedding, and each of them were so kind and welcoming. Jemeika answered every single question with care and made sure I felt confident going into the day. Thank you to the entire team - it was truly a dream come true!!! Best. Day. Ever. -

One of the best decisions we made with planning our wedding was choosing the Royal Ashburn as our venue. Sowmya and the staff at the Royal Ashburn went above and beyond to ensure our Western/South Asian fusion wedding fit our vision and that the day ran smoothly. I felt confident that we were in good hands throughout the whole planning process. A special thank you to Sowmya, our venue coordinator, who was exceptional to work with, attentive and quick to respond to our emails. The day would really not have been possible without her expertise and help every step of the way! Sowmya also checked in with our parents throughout the day to make ensure all was well, just one of many examples of her commitment to a great guest experience! The staff working the event were incredibly kind and helpful as well, providing excellent service to our guests. I am still receiving so many compliments from guests about the food - including that it was some of the best wedding food that they had ever had! The venue is just absolutely stunning and there is an intimate feel in both the ceremony and reception spaces (we had the Compton room and Cedar Gardens). Our guests started taking family photos with the gardens as the backdrop, that’s how stunning the grounds are! I cannot thank the team at the Royal Ashburn enough for the beautiful memories. I would highly, highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding or event! -

We recently got married at the Royal Ashburn at the end of August. The ceremony and reception sites were so incredibly beautiful! We went with this venue due to them having everything in one package, which took a lot of the stress off of us when it came to planning smaller details. We worked with Sowmya who was AMAZING! She always made sure to answer our questions quickly, and was such a wonderful collaborator when it came to bringing our vision to life. Throughout the whole process, we both felt like we had someone else on our team. On the day of, she was incredible and ensured that we were hydrated and fed - as well as helped organize where she could (thank you!). The staff was also INCREDIBLE, they all did a great job and made the day feel that much brighter. Overall, I am so happy we got married here - thank you to everyone at the Royal Ashburn who made our day so perfect. I would highly recommend them as a wedding venue! -

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Royal Ashburn! The venue was stunning, the service was seamless, and everything came together perfectly. Her calm energy and problem-solving mindset made the whole planning process stress-free. If you do a CTRL+F search while looking through the reviews of the Royal Ashburn on here, there's one word that comes up more than any other: "Sowmya". And for very good reasons.
We didn't look at reviews too closely when selecting a venue, we toured a dozen or so local ones, however. We immediately fell in love with the Compton Room and the solarium. We got lucky that Sowmya was working that day.
We planned our wedding for over two years, and in that time Sowmya answered every email and every question we had, often within minutes or hours. The day of our event, December 7th, 2024, we couldn't have asked for a more attentive and thoughtful coordinator throughout the day's events. In fact, we want to shout out all the staff from those serving dinner, pouring drinks and cooking up one of the best meals we've had anywhere.
