Sirocco Golf Club is a wedding banquet hall located in Calgary, Alberta. This charming and multifaceted location boasts ample space for hosting an array of celebrations, including the ceremony and reception. With indoor and open-air spaces available, couples can enjoy comfortable interiors while also indulging in the great outdoors. Situated among Pine Creek Valley, this stunning site can host both intimate and extravagant occasions.
Facilities and Capacity
Those who would like to prepare at Sirocco Golf Club can avail of the get-ready room for makeup application and attire alterations. For the all-important ceremony, the couple can gather with their nearest and dearest to share the “I do” moment. Several diverse spaces are available, including the hilltop and indoor sites. For the former, to-be-weds can join hand-in-hand to say their vows with the majestic Rocky Mountains looming gracefully in the background. Panoramic views greet invitees as they watch the magical moment take place. A cozy indoor space can be set aside where 100 people can assemble in a room defined by sleek wood and an inviting fireplace. After the newlyweds have been pronounced by their officiant, photo opportunities can be indulged in as those Instagrammable posts are captured.
As the day progresses, the reception revelries can begin. The Full Upper level can accommodate up to 175 guests, and the decor is defined by muted colour schemes that match the overall atmosphere of Sirocco Golf Club.
Services Offered
Megan Tycholis, our Events Manager and her planning team can help the happy couple arrange their big day. The Events team put a great deal of effort into doing justice to each vision at Sirocco Golf Club. Creating a bespoke experience, they enjoy working alongside all clients. When the big day arrives, Megan and her team can ensure everything Sirocco offers flows much smoother than it would without them.
Cuisine
A variety of menus are available for the happy couple to choose from, meaning they can select the one that best suits everyone’s taste buds. Their dishes are seasoned with produce from local and organic providers, while their seafood comes from sustainable sources. As such, freshness and quality are big priorities for Executive Chef, James Haacke.

Beautiful venue, excellent food, and even better service
We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at Sirocco Golf Club. Despite covid-related challenges and staff turnover, they consistently upheld an excellent standard of service. They were communicative, personable, and accommodating. Chef James was so flexible with our requests, prepared an amazing tasting for us, and more than delivered on the day of. Our guests raved about how good the food was (the poutine bar was also an enormous hit). Eric and Mandy were a pleasure to work with. The venue and grounds itself are absolutely beautiful. And the wait staff deserve an extra shoutout as they were truly exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about all the servers. Their warmth, kindness, and attentiveness is an absolute asset to this venue and everyone around them. Thank you so much for everything!

Great Wedding Experience!
We originally booked Sirocco in November 2019 for June 2021. Due to current events we ended up pushing back to August 2021 and Sirocco was very responsive and flexible. When it came to the day of we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The team at Sirocco went above and beyond to make things as easy as possible including co-ordinating with the DJ, driving us around in golf carts for photos, and assisting the photographer with lighting for some photos. The food was also amazing and we can't wait to go back for anniversary dinners in the future. I wouldn't hesitate Sirocco to any couple.

Best venue with amazing team
I cannot say thank-you enough to Sirocco team. They were super flexible to work with during planning. While a. Lot of couples struggling with vendors due to Covid, Sirocco accommodated anything Covid related, which was such a stress relief for us. On our wedding day their support was above and beyond our expectations.

Very accommodating
Sirocco was extremely accommodating during the pandemic, we postponed by 1 year without any penalty or additional cost. They allowed us to wait up to about 3 months before the date to confirm whether we would go ahead, based on current restrictions. We chose the outdoor ceremony site which was absolutely beautiful, although quite windy. Luckily the temperature was still warm enough that it wasn’t too cold with the wind. There are a couple other places for photos with nice views as well.
The bridal suite downstairs was perfect for freshening up and having private time with the bridal party.
The food was amazing, apart from the crab cake which many guests said was too fishy. We were able to bring in our own wine, at a $25/bottle corkage fee, as well as our own dessert.
Unfortunately our wedding was during the 2 week period with the 10pm alcohol service restriction, which they did follow strictly and resulted in our wedding ending early.

Sirocco made our dream wedding come true
Best staff and amazing venue. Mallory and Leanne was there for us every step of the way. They took the time and patience to listen to what our vision was for our wedding. They worked with us to make all that happen. Mid way through our ceremony, a storm rolled in. Sirocco staff was very professional and helped us transition smoothly inside. The food was amazing. I still have guests that talk about how they wish they ate more prime rib. I can’t even thank Sirocco staff enough for making our wedding such a success.

Our Most Memorable Day
Our working experience working with Mallory at Sirocco was delightful. From start to finish, Mallory was there to answer every question we had along the way. She was clearly a very experienced coordinator, asking questions we'd never even think about. She truly helped us craft the most perfect day. A week before our wedding we got word that the wedding wasn't going to be great. Mallory helped facilitate a last minute tent rental. Then on the day of our wedding, we had a surprise April blizzard. Mallory was out there with her coat in the whiteout guiding our guests, making sure everyone was comfortable, and helping our photographer find spots for our photos. We definitely didn't get to enjoy the full experience of taking pictures on the beautiful grounds, but I've heard nothing but great things!

So thankful we chose Sirocco for our wedding!
We are so thrilled we chose Sirocco for our wedding venue. The coordinator Angie was our lifesaver through the whole process. So many guests told us that they had never seen a bride and groom look so relaxed, and that was because we didn't have to worry about a single thing all day. We felt like special guests at a party in our honour, and not like stressed out hosts. A highlight for me was all the staff making us feel like rockstars on the day of! Our guests complimented the beauty of the venue, the professionalism of the staff, and the great buffet food. My cousin said this was the first buffet meal she ever approved of. Thanks Sirocco!

Amazing! We cannot say enough good things about the venue and staff. Angie at Sirocco was a wonderful guide throughout the planning process. She was professional and responded promptly to all of our questions. The actual day went very smoothly. Many of our guests mentioning that this was the best wedding they had ever been to and that the location was stunning and food amazing. We couldn't agree more.
We really enjoyed the pre-wedding wine tasting and vendor showcase as it allowed us an opportunity to try out some of the food and wine before the big day.
We felt that the venue provided good value. We would highly recommend Sirocco.

We had our July 1, 2017 wedding at Sirocco. Our ceremony was held outdoors at the hilltop site and we booked the entire upper floor of the club house for our 150 guest reception.
We dealt primarily with Angie (event manager) and Whitney (food and beverage manager) - These two are an excellent team and work very well together. Sirocco is lucky to have the wealth of experience these two bring to the table.
Correspondence was timely and productive. Angie worked very closely with us to make sure every little detail was taken care of. Of note, these two ladies were able to make what I could imagine was a very chaotic day flow seamlessly without issue.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning - perfect for someone looking for a country-rustic style wedding but with just the right amount of classiness. I cannot wait to see my photographs because the scenery at this location is absolutely perfect!

Sirocco was an amazing venue for our wedding. The staff were absolutely fantastic and a big thank you to Angie and Whitney who were always there when we needed them, even anticipating our needs before we realized them. To say the food was incredible would be an understatement, it was beyond our expectations and we received compliments from all of our guests on how great it was. Sirocco easily merits a 5 star rating from us and we would gladly recommend it as an ideal and beautiful wedding venue. It really is the whole package without any hidden costs or surprises.
