Welcome to Scotswood Links, a timeless wedding and event venue located 35 minutes South West of Winnipeg. This family run business has been hosting weddings for nearly a decade and takes pride in providing personalized and exceptional service. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be swept away by the breathtaking scenery and tranquil atmosphere that the venue and golf course offer. The venue is an excellent fit for hosts wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city but remain within close proximity.
Scotswood's all-inclusive approach ensures that you have everything you need to create your dream event. The venue's in-house culinary team specializes in creating delicious and beautifully presented dishes. With a range of customizable menu options to choose from, you can be sure to find the perfect meal to compliment your wedding theme. Whether you’re hosting a small, intimate gathering or a large, lavished celebration, Scotswood has the ideal space to suit your needs.
Facilities and capacity
The facility includes a restaurant, lounge, three season sunroom, multiple exterior patios, an exterior ceremony space and a 3000 square foot indoor banquet hall.
Our newly unveiled Courtyard, which made its debut in the early summer months of 2024, offers an exquisite and intimate backdrop for your wedding day ceremony. As you make your way down the aisle, guests are seated on elegant pearl white lawn chairs, adding a touch of sophistication to the already breathtaking scene. The Courtyard is conveniently located adjacent to the Terrace which ensures a smooth transition from your ceremony to cocktail hour.
The Terrace, located through the set of doors to the south of the Banquet Hall, is an immaculate space for outdoor cocktail hours. It is characterized by a herringbone patterned floorlay and accompanied by black lamp posts that trail along a romantic walkway. Atop the Terrace, you will find a stunning wood pergola with a porch swing hanging below and a warm gas fireplace surrounded by matching adirondack loungers. During the summer months, the team fastens cozy bistro lights beneath the pergola, giving off a gentle late night glow.
The Banquet Hall, commonly used for receptions, is known for its large, open concept space, allowing guest counts up to 200. Its neutral colour palette and muted tones allows reception hosts to completely customize the room with any décor or colour. The East and South walls are made up of large windows and framed with off-white drapery, permitting ample light to flood in. Four large timber beams oversee the room, accompanied by elegant cast iron chandeliers.
At night’s end, accommodation in the century-old Estate House awaits. The home, located a short one minute drive from the Scotswood Links clubhouse, features five bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining room, sunroom, six person hot tub, firepit and two outdoor seating areas.

Sasha was so organized and dependable, and the staff were equally amazing, friendly, professional, and attentive.
The venue itself is stunning, and the layout was perfect. Our guests loved how seamlessly the ceremony transitioned into cocktail hour, and how they could move freely between the reception space and the beautiful terrace. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, exactly what we had hoped for.

Stunning Wedding Venue
We loved the set up of Scotswood Links, and guests complimented us on the flow of the venue. The ceremony space was perfect for our needs, as well as flexible to our vision. Guests loved the patio area and stayed out on it all night! We loved the indoor reception area - it has a beautifully timeless feel that fits with any type of vision or decor. I knew we would love all our photos, regardless of the weather, because of the indoor space. We loved the open feel, which ensured we got the most time with our guests because everyone was generally all in the same space. This was really important to us!
The food was also incredible, guests complimented us on the taste, portions, and service. We loved that we could eat our two favourite foods on our wedding day (steak & chicken parm)! We also loved the small touches we could add to the ceremony and reception, such as a infused water station (essential for a July wedding!), and poutine bar (a huge hit with our guests!).
When we got married, there was also an option to rent a house on the back of the golf course - which we LOVED. This made for a fun weekend with our bridal party, and the house was the perfect space for getting ready pictures and some of our family photos. I never thought I would care about the setting for these, but after seeing our sneak peeks, we are so happy we had this space to use for the weekend!

From the very beginning, Sasha was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions and went above and beyond to assist us both before and on our special day.
When the rain forced us to move our ceremony indoors at the last minute, the staff at Scotswood had everything perfectly rearranged by the time we arrived. They took care of every detail, leaving us with nothing to worry about.
The food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests, who couldn't stop talking about how great it was!
