Dream Wedding

Having our wedding at Redwoods was the best decision. First off, Jill and the entire event staff were absolutely INCREDIBLE. They responded to our emails (several- sorry Jill) right away, offered wonderful suggestions, and made our wedding day completely stress free. The venue itself is beautiful, the lawns and gardens were groomed to perfection making it the perfect backdrop for photos. We loved the all inclusive style package with food and beverages, decor and DJ. My husband and I, along with our 80 guests raved about the food- it was presented beautifully and most importantly delicious. They catered to my nut allergy and offered GF options. Tracey and her team from Cinderella Slip Ons (included decor package) made our vision come to life. Craig the DJ was also amazing. I can't recommend or thank Redwoods enough- they are truly the best!! You will not regret getting married here.

Better than we could’ve imagined!!

We had the BEST wedding at Redwoods Golf Course. So great that once it was over we wanted to do it again. Lynnea, our coordinator was a dream to work with throughout our entire process. She anticipated our needs and was so kind and patient. She honestly felt like a friend! Lynnea even helped my now husband plan a surprise for me that went off without an hitch. All of the staff at Redwoods was so friendly and the service was amazing. The venue was gorgeous and the food was AMAZING! Every single one of our guests raved about the food and the grounds. They made the wedding planning process so seamless it feels like you don’t even have to think about a thing. There’s so much that could be said but all in all, if you are debating having your wedding here just do it! You will not regret it.

5 Star Wedding

If you want a 5 star wedding, then Redwoods is the place for you! From the beautiful scenery, amazing menu selection, best DJ, helpful wedding coordinators and an all inclusive package, Redwoods has it all.

From confirming our interest to our big day, Jill Jonkman, Event Manger, at Redwoods was super helpful and very responsive. She made sure every detail was covered and answered all our questions along the way.

Want good food? All our guests are still raving about the food! How many weddings have you been to that had steak (BBQ'd during dinner!) and prawns on the menu? Dessert? Best we've ever had and what a selection to choose from!

The all inclusive package allowed for my husband and I to really enjoy the wedding planning with little to no stress with the help of all the amazing vendors included. Our DJ, Craig with Dance Party Music, was the sweetest and kept the dance floor full until the very end. Tracey Maris with Cinderella Slip-ons made all our decor dreams come true!

The cherry on top is the location. It provided the most beautiful backdrop with the forest, mountain ranges and open area for the perfect golden hour sunset photos. Our pictures could not be more perfect!

Overall, my husband and I highly recommend Redwoods for your wedding!

The Best Venue in the Lower Mainland!

I couldn’t say enough great things about Redwoods. From the beginning, they helped to make my wedding seamless and worry free. All the staff are amazing. From the wedding coordinators who are very knowledgeable and are quick to respond to all the questions you may have. To Tracey who does the decor (she knows her stuff!), to Craig the DJ, and everyone in between. The venue is beautiful!! The ceremony area is surrounded by birch trees and you can see the mountains in the distance. The gardens they have are well maintained and filled with flowers. All our guests had an amazing time and every single person raved about how good the food was. I would 100% recommend this venue to all future brides.

Beautiful venue and delicious food

Our coordinator from Redwood was Dacey and she was a pleasure to work with. Very responsive with all our emails and questions. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Only complaint is that originally we wanted to not have a bar at all, but Redwood requires there to be a bar - so we settled on a host bar so that none of our guests would have to pay.

Included with the Redwood wedding package was also Tracey from Cinderella Slip-ons for decorations and florals. She was fantastic to work with as well.

Also included was the DJ services by Craig of Dance Party Music Services. He didn’t hesitate to share his years of experience running successful weddings. In our meetings, he even brought up non-DJ things we hadn’t even thought of. On the day of our wedding there were some timing changes out of Craig’s control and he worked around them like a true professional.

Absolutely perfect!

From our very first meeting with Redwoods we were blown away. When they say all inclusive package...they mean it! The only things you need to worry about are your officiant, hand held flowers, photographer and any other personal touches you want to include.

The planning at Redwoods could not have been easier. They contacted us for the food tasting *which was an adorable date day getting to taste tons of options*, the DJ reached out when it was time to plan our music, the decorator reached out when it was time to plan our vision. And included in the package is a day of coordinator who not only answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding but was also onsite for my rehearsal and full day of as well. (Dacey, you're a Rockstar).

From start to finish the day of our wedding was perfect. Everything ran smoothly and on time. The venue was stunning, decorated exactly how we wanted. It never took more than 2 minutes to get a drink at the bar. We continue to get rave reviews for the food and drink options and the DJ had us on the dancefloor right through to midnight (Craig is so wonderful!).

Redwoods also does an amazing job of taking care of the small details. I loaded a couple of totes with my personal decor items and they put them all out for us on the day of exactly how I'd wanted. They can change up your ceremony site if it rains with only 15 minutes notice so you get the best chance at good weather AND they supply clear umbrellas just incase. They even yell at the golfers to get out of the way of the ceremony and photos...at no point did it feel like we were getting married at a golf course.

Could not possibly recommend them enough!

Unbelievable

We tied the knot on Friday, May 31st, and we could not have asked for a better day. Even prior to the event Jill and her team were responsive and easy to work with. From Tracy to Craig, everyone was wonderful to work with. You get WAY more than you realize. The floras were beautiful and plentiful, the food was amazing, and dessert bar was great. Although I was too full to partake, everyone raved about the cheesecake. We got the mid-night snack, and although everyone was full, they all enjoyed the tiny food truck. I’ve since recommended Redwoods to multiple friends, and if you’re wondering if this is the place to do it. If you want a hassle free, just show up and have a great time venue, this is it.
